I have a great (for the US) health plan. I teach at a state university and so have state coverage. I had to wait almost three months to have a pituitary brain tumor removed three years ago because the hospital wasn't willing to schedule it. Excuse me about waits? I can't have the MRI followup this year because I haven't met my deductable plus I have to pay 20 percent, so I am not able to go into debt for close to a thousand dollars. And I'm one of the lucky ones!
