I've been saying for months

That calling Congress is a negative activism tactic, I wrangled a little with Christy Harden Smith over it and I told Darci Wheeler the same thing two days ago. It burns our people out in futility, it's humiliating and embarrassing.

Please excuse me, we only had one primary challenge of import last cycle, Lieberman. Feinstein skated again, along with all the other enablers. I know these are good signs that Glenn gives as examples, but we need 50 primary challenges urgently right now, not in some mystical date in the future.

I don't help at Open Left 'cause I'm always acutely embarrassed as a Democrat just to show up and look at all the horribly long lists. For the love of holy Mary & baby Jesus, has there been something in the water or something that got so many Democrats so disastrously fucked up?

A desperate struggle among our own as we are over-run. I'm just tired, all right? Primary challenges, onward! One day, my friends, we will run against Republicans again!

Insulting is the correct word

As I read the piece I kept getting filled with this wonderment: does Reockeffeler think we are the Republican base? That any bullshit and lying must be accepted because he says so?

He does think we're stupid. He does think we can be manipulated. He does lie. He does not protect the constitution.

To think that Harry Reid has gone along with all this, swatting down the hold put on by Biden....

There is a long, long way to go. It's really pretty bad when a Democratic Senator treats citizens with such appalling contempt.

What are the numbers?

In the swirl of America, what are the number of people who read Glenn today? Jane Hamsher? Digby? How many know the story tonight?

Maybe a million, and many of those will forget soon. There are 340 million Americans, and this creature is sure he can ignore the netroots. They own the media, we are still very few, and obviously Time, Inc, doesn't think we represent a damn thing.

Ha. See you around, guys. We'll be back.

Wonder what excuses they'll use when they have 60 votes?

This next election could give them that, if they reached for it.

Watch, they'll get all tough with the next Democratic President, 60 votes be damned.

Oh well. We do the best we can.

Well, we already sent Nancy flowers once

It was classy, she sent 'em to Walter Reid.

Okay, let's reward some good behavior. I have not the faintest clue as how to do that, but I'll try to think of something.

It did take too long, I will say that. One has to bitch about the Democrats still, have we forgotten?

Oh well, sorry, thanks guys. Yeah.

I have been toldy by others to influence our candiates

In many ways they suck, please excuse me. George Bush was a cheerleader, not I.

Attacking McCain is something I can do very well, but putting up with wussies won't settle well in my pysche. It's not me you need to tell to fight, it's those squeebie god damn Democrats.

The party and our leaders ask for much. I haven't forgotten any of the last seven year, none of it, bitchez.

Cross-post at The Big Orange, see what happens

Morning brother--

I was thinking of you and this very topic last night, for Sunday I went after Chis Von Hollen for stating we little folks understood that any issue Congress was too lazy and obdurate to address would of course be "triaged."

I'm ignored at Daily Kos for it, I wouldn't say shunned, but the level of implacable silence to even complete Democrat fuckups like Reid and Feinstein feels like shunning.

CVH is a darling of the fresh elements of the Democratic Party, but when the fuck all did this little hoser decide what the people understand? Denial, that's all I got. Maybe I'm a lousy writer, I don't know, but I notice I always get a much greater response at the Big Orange of Denial when I don't criticize the slimy lizards in our beloved great Party.

I met you first time in a Kos thread, Glenn, I haven't forgotten, I asked if you were a lawyer or a reporter, and got steered back to you old blog. Go ahead and cross-post there, see what happens.

They can't ignore the great Glennzilla, can they? Let's find out if The Big Orange can take this. Why not, what could it harm?

Sure are a lot of tall propaganda pillars around

Just sayin'.

Well, when are the lawyers being prosecuted?

President Obama says CIA people with no brains, ethics or even the most basic grasp of the law and history get to skate. That's it.

What about Yoo and all the rest? Nothing. It's just left out there as some vapor of an idea, and of course the bloggers pick it up but that will be all, the President already framed the lawyers out.

The answer is that nothing will be done. We just got it.

To really boil it down, Obama and Democrats are political wussies, if they know what fighting is they're horrified by it. Obtaining convictions against Republicans who play by no rules and an enabling media is easily possible but very ugly. Democrats can't even play patty-cake, let alone pick up knife.

Wussies have been know to lean fighting very well with the right leadership. Oy.
