I Love This

First of all, Tiger Woods self-identifies as "caublanasian." While I have no idea the "cau" in that comes from, he acknowledges his mom's race and his dad's race. He is not trying to front like he is anything that he is not. What is so wrong with Barack Obama being biracial? He is and you guys who are in love with the myth of his blackness have a meltdown when it is said. There is nothing to be ashamed of. It may be less attractive because all you guys who think you are being revolutionary and history making by voting for a black man. He would be the first biracial president. That too is an historical first.

You have not answered my question: Would you accept Barack Obama as a white man if he self-identified as white? The Candidate Formerly Known As Barry was raised in a white household with a grandmother who by his account was suspicious of black people. That does not sound "culturally black" if you ask me. But hey...

Anyway, I no longer have a vested interest in the Democratic party after Tuesday. Senator Clinton will most certainly lose. If I were her, I would leave the party, wait out my term as Senator, and go on the speaking circuit for millions of dollars. Since she and Bill Clinton have been cast as racists, they have no moral authority anymore. They should cash in and just do what the entire party has told them to do: go away. Obama supporters hate the Clintons, denounce them as morally reprehensible racists, entitled whites, and all sorts of sinister things. Say all of that is true. Why would you want o be in league with and supported by such hateful and horrible people? I need answers because all I am getting is you guys telling me I should support him because I am black and how I am an awful person. No one has addressed the questions I have asked.

In Defense of Obama re: Rev. Wright

I though "Father" Pfleger's appearance at Trinity and the wild applause it drew was truly shameful. I would not like it if anyone did that to Obama. It was in poor taste.

I should be mystified as to how Rev. Wright is denounced as crazy, a racist, all around bigot, and nutjob. Rev. Wright, for those who know anything about him, as an astute and brilliant religious scholar. When he discusses the Bible and parallels biblical scripture to current situations and explains the goings on of the world through scripture, he displays virtuosity. I would challenge any of these so-called religious leaders to show half of the mastery of the Bible that Rev. Wright has.

The overwhelming majority of Americans were horrified by the Chickens Coming Home to Roost/9/11 speech. He was talking about the vengeance the 9/11 hijackers sought to seek against America and why their anger was not some anomaly. Rev. Wright used the following statement made by David: blessed be they that bash your babies' skulls against the rocks. He was not saying that 9/11 was some wonderful act of retribution. He was offering up an answer to the pathetically ignorant "Why do they hate us?"

Are Rev. Wright's claims that AIDS is a government conspiracy to kill off blacks that fallacious? If you consider that the government used the Tuskegee Airmen as human petri dishes without their knowledge or consent and had little compunction about doing it, the AIDS conspiracy is grounded in some reason and fact.

Rev. Wright is a man who is provocative in a way I would imagine Jesus would have been. He is certainly provocative in the way Dr. King was. Today we get the whitewashed, palatable version of Dr. King. More than once he was denounced by the mainstream media and the government as a radical and a traitor because of the things he said about American foreign policy, the Viet Nam conflict in particular, the treatment of the poor, and other things. He was not the one dimensional cuddly race healer that he is drawn to be now. People who like him because they only know that side of him would hurl the same invective as they hurl at Rev. Wright.

I understand that Senator Obama is a politician and it is his job to get elected, so he had to dump Wright. Despite his cynical reasons for joining Trinity, I could certainly understand having an affinity for the man. He is captivating, intelligent, and someone with whom I would not mind having a relationship.

Clinton supporters should stop having historical amnesia with regard to Rev. Wright. He was invited to the White House in the wake of the Lewinsky scandal. I do not know if he was invited at Senator Clinton's behest, knowledge, or approval.

I'm Not Bright

Rampart-

I know the cau in caublanasian stands for Caucasian you clown. I was saying I did not know where it came from because neither of his parents is Caucasian and neither of them has a Caucasian parent. I am mystified as to how he is integrating that into his self-identity but whatever.

As to my not being bright, I would suggest you make that case to the undergraduate admissions committee at Columbia and the admissions committee at Yale Law school. I doubt they'd take your calls, but it might be worth a try.

Why do you have to devolve into calling me dumb? Does it make you feel better because I hurt your witty bitty feelings? Or is it because I have yet to see the light of the political world's equivalent of Warren Jeffs? I do not hate you. I hate your candidate. You Obama people are so extra. And you wonder why Clinton supporters won't join you? Now that is dumb.

I'll send you a monogrammed crying towel in November.
