Awe, Grima

What about Chambliss? Gets out with a bad knee and then slams a person who had multiple amputated in war.

Or how about that hero, Jack Kemp. Jack Kemp, an amazing guy, his knee too damaged to go to war, but oddly enough, not too damaged to continue his professional football career.

Or Limbaugh? Gets out with an awkwardly placed zit.

Or what about Ahnold? Went AWOL from his Austrian army base, so he could show off how shapely his breasts were.

I don't see you talking about any of this guys in your rant on hypocrisy Grima.

Consider the fact that those were direct quotes.

You are a liar. It. Is. As. Simple. As. That.

Awe, Grima, reading comprehension isn't your strong suit is it?

Can't spell "taliesan" without "lies"

"What about Chambliss? Gets out with a bad knee and then slams a person who had multiple amputated in war."

Cleland did not lose his limbs in battle.

You're lying again.

Further, it actually was in battle, the Battle of Khe Sanh. It was accidental, but it was in a battle. So Grima, you have been caught out in yet another lie.

Oh, and to the anonymous poster who claimed it was Cleland's grenade, it turned out later to have belonged to a rookie who was with him, who was wearing a jacket full of grenades with dangerously straight pins.

This from Wikipedia:

David Lloyd was a gung-ho, 19-year-old enlisted Marine, son of a Baltimore ship worker, who went to Vietnam because he "wanted to kill Communists."

On April 8, 1968, he was in a mortar pit on a hill near Khe Sanh when he heard an explosion. Shrapnel bounced off his flak jacket. He ran to the injured officer, a man named Max Cleland. 'Hold on there, captain,' Lloyd told Cleland. 'The chopper will be here in a minute.'

Lloyd took off his web belt and tied it around one of Cleland's shredded legs. When the medics arrived, he left to help another injured soldier — one of the two who had gotten off a helicopter with Cleland.

That soldier was crying. 'It was mine,' he said, 'it was my grenade.'

According to Lloyd, the private had failed to take the extra precaution that experienced soldiers did when they grabbed M-26 grenades from the ammo box: bend the pins, or tape them in place, so they couldn't accidentally dislodge. This soldier had a flak jacket full of grenades with treacherously straight pins, Lloyd says. "He was a walking death trap."[4]

Still not in battle, but definitely in a war and in a battle.

Oops

Correct that last post to "Still not due to battle but definitely in a war and in a battle"

The basic reason why you shouldn't vote Democrat.

What will the Democrats have to do before the mass of liberals, frozen in fear of "wasting" their votes, actually stop wasting their votes and vote the bastards out?

Declare Bush emperor?

The Democrats don't want your vote. They don't want your support. They pour scorn on the leftwing blogs, and they are not prepared to follow their mandates.

And it isn't just the blue dogs. Pelosi took impeachment off the table.

So long as America's left is ashamed of wanting a better world, wanting government to work for America's people and wanting America to stand tall as a world leader there will be no liberal government in America.

So long as good people are ashamed to be good, evil will reign and it will make no difference whatsoever if the politicians in charge have a D or a R on the ends of their names, the pictures might change but the policies will remain the same.

It is time for a mass exodus. Your party might lose the next election if you vote third candidate, but at least you won't be voting for someone who thanks your support by calling you the loony left.

Right now if you vote Democrat you may as well vote Republican so vote independent and vote for America.

Does Ann Coulter ring a bell?

She is as effective as she is because she doesn't pull her punches and the right embraces her for it.

The Moveon add wasn't a rookie mistake, the rookie mistake was the Democrats weaseling away from it

It is time for the Democrats to embrace the netroots, or for the netroots to embrace an independent because frankly, the leftwing is getting tired of this shit.

How about Edwards/Obama? That way you have a strong ticket between the two most likely to win, as opposed to the Clinton ticket which is kind of like handing the Whitehouse to the Republicans.

Edwards has enough attack dog in him to get the job done. He will blame people if they stuff up, and he will hold people accountable, but he will also prove divisive.

Obama, on the other hand, has the ability to unite people. He will keep people united, but chances are he won't get much done because he will be unwilling to hold people accountable.

With the two, you have Edwards building the fire and Obama keeping it under control. With one on his own you either end up with a conflagration burning the country down, or the country freezing through a blizzard.

More work.

If they have time to get on each other's nerves and have enough time to come whining to daddy, then they are underemployed and need more work.

Let it be known that this is the new policy. They whine, they get more work.

And if they are using the fact that they are female as an angle (You know, by bursting out crying when you tell them they stuffed up) then find a way to make them redundant. If they are bursting out crying in that situation, then whatever the heck they do can probably be automated.
