The stupid's true colours.
[Read the article: Night lands Clinton closer to oblivion]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]I am completely disgusted by the stupid. Over the last months, on site after site, I have read the vilest, most vulgar, hateful, sexist comments by bloggers and the commenters. Things people should be ashamed to have their mothers read. But then apparently, where anyone who disagrees with Hillary is concerned, anything is fair.
It seems Obama's main crime is that he did not step aside when a woman wanted the job he was "interviewing" for. That's what all the screaming has been about. "He can't close the deal!, he's lost!" "Who cares if he won more states!" "How dare he run against Hillary!"
If Hillary is the nominee, as seems unlikely, I'll vote for her in November because this country can't take four more years with a Republican in the White House. But I don't trust her or her supporters. And I won't forget that way too many people in the country think a black man's proper place is on his knees.
I thought Reverend Wright's arguments were over the top, but he was right. On all the news sites, left and right, it is the same.
See how easy it is to play the chronic victim without bringing up a single valid point?

NYShooter Thankyou.
[Read the article: The Brazile-Begala smackdown]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]That you summarise Barrack's entire candidacy as being based on his race, and not say, his vocal opposition to the war, his unwillingness to pander with issues, or even to be honest, the opposition Hillary has met from people who do not want an unapologetic hawk in office after the Iraq mess is enlightening.
As is your list of just who you think is supporting Obama - and why you think they are doing it. Your insults and hatred for your own party, coupled with your sense of your candidates entitlement shows exactly why Obama's supporters have gotten angry.
Thankyou for showing exactly what you Hillbots are all about.

[Read more letters about this article: Here]I can sort of see Florida. Sort of.
But Michigan?
Obama and Edwards, the other two big names at the time, weren't even on the ballot. That she won there is the equivelant of bragging that you won a footrace between yourself, a dead man and a coma patient.

[Read more letters about this article: Here]Yeah, vote for the guy that wants eternal war and has no idea what to do about the failing economy.
That will "show us."
Show us that you are an idiot.

My Veep candidate isn't included
[Read the article: Obama Veepstakes]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]The candidate I would have picked would have been an atheist with a respected scientific background. This would both appeal to the second largest religious grouping in America - the frequently ignored atheists - and help boost both candidates' credentials when it comes to them not being religious fanatics.
Of course, this would be a gamble on the Democrats' part, because appealing to the other party's base made up of the exact same people who opposed abolishing slavery, who opposed giving black people equal rights, who opposed giving women the vote, who favoured banning alchohol, who have routinely make fools of themselves over teaching biology in America's schools and who think having the name "Hussein" in your name is the same as being a Muslim, is somehow seen as being better than trying to get new voters in who largely agree with progressive ideals.
Because you know, people who write books arguing with religion are somehow scarier than people who think an international symbol for peace is Satanic if you are a "Moderate" Christian.

Oh and as to Hillary and Barrack
[Read the article: Obama Veepstakes]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]Here is what would happen:
Say Obama is on top of the ticket:
McCain (Via whisper campaigning): "Hillary ran her primary election as though she wanted to be MY VP. And you say you want change, why not pick someone who, you know, the voters can trust? I feel the voters can trust my VP choice, can you honestly say the same? Or is this just a case of you pandering?"
Say Hillary is on top the ticket:
McCain: "But Hillary, didn't you say that you didn't know if Obama had passed the Commander in Chief test, and I did? You know, if you elect me I have every confidence in my VP being able to take my place should something happen. Can you honestly say the same? And if so, how can the voters trust you if you were lying back then? Flip-flop anyone?"
Hillary's own words in this campaign have made that compromise impossible. It has to be one or the other, it cannot be both.

[Read the article: Clinton: "I am in this race"]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]The fact that she chose to scaremonger instead of facing real issues?
That she is threatening a nuclear war with a country that America can't afford to destroy because, you know, you need that oil at least until reliable alternatives to fossil fuels are found?
Or maybe it is the whole "Lets give the Iranians plenty of reason to think they need nuclear weapons, because shit knows the evidence used to convince me that Iraq had them wasn't exactly convincing."

[Read more letters about this article: Here]You have compared Obama's supporters to Bennedict Arnold, you have claimed that Obama cannot win simply because he is black, and you have intimated that Obama's supporters are mentally ill.
And you wonder why people bring up that Hillary's supporters are a bunch of racist hypocrites with a sense of entitlement?
