Well of course. The Iranian time machine is why you even have records of a cretaceous period, those darn dirty Iranians travelled back in time, robbed Noah's ark (Which is why you don't have dinosaurs today) moved all of the little plants and mollusks into what would be the mordern day Middle East (Which is why the Arabs have most of the world's oil, they just missed a bit in America, Africa and Russia) and planted evidence of this "Evolution" all through the timeline.

Them's dirty Iranians is behind the war on Christmas!

To deter an American invasion.

America would not have invaded Iraq if Bush and his boys seriously thought Iraq had any weapons it could use to defend itself. Iran noted this and played up its nuclear programme in order to avoid sharing Iraq's fate.

Recent world events have, of course, led to Iran changing course as America's star has fallen, and trade alliances have proved more valuable then the threat of a US invasion has proved threatening.

Iran right now, doesn't need WMDs to serve as a military deterent, it has allies and in real terms, the US does not.

There are basic rules to running a business.

Always, always, always, when making an agreement with someone, do it in writing. It doesn't have to be legalese for this sort of thing, it just has to be understandable.

The money you have lost here, is not so serious. It won't put you under, just learn from your mistake.

Now onto Cary's advice. The guy is a bully, this is not about the money this is about the ex-con asserting his dominance over you.

By going Cary's "peaceful resolution" route, you are essentially pulling your pants down, bending over and begging him to rape you repeatedly. Don't follow Cary's advice.

Instead write the money off. Bad debts are common. When his car breaks down again, take it in and fix it, this time getting him to sign the quote. Then keep ahold of the car right up until he pays up on his debt.

He gets violent or does anything to your stuff, call the cops on him. He has a record, let him know just how much power that gives you, a guy with a clean record, over him.

If he gets threatening point out to him just where the cops would look first. He touches you, he goes back behind bars and guess where his kid ends up?

nurtzGuy, I am an Atheist, and...

...actually, the second one is fairly easy to do.

God gave man the Earth, right? Well, that means that God is punishing man for messing with his creation and ignoring the duties inherent in God's gift.

Of course, that's if you want to take a liberal reading. The conservative reading is somewhat more apocolyptic.

About 60% of America's scientists are atheists

"Whereas 90% of the general population has a distinct belief in a personal god and a life after death, only 40% of scientists on the B.S. level favor this belief in religion and merely 10 % of those who are considered 'eminent' scientists believe in a personal god or in an afterlife."

Scientific American, 1999

Now take into account the prominence of the religious right, the fact that 53% of America's population won't vote for an atheist.

Now tell me, how welcome does America make its top scientists feel?

Hillary Clinton cannot win

The reason is simple.

You see, Hillary Clinton is very politically savvy, but along with that savvy, she just isn't smart.

Lets take a look at Hillary on Computer Games, specifically, two examples, Grand Theft Auto San Andreas and Manhunt 2.

In the former, Hillary Clinton was arguing that parents of impressionable children weren't getting suffecient warning that the game might just not be suitable for young audiences. Note the game's name.

Not only that, she was arguing that what made this game, which is about voilent car theft, killing cops, assassinating people in general and pimping the odd prostitute, objectionable is that a minigame called "Hot Coffee" made it into the game where you can have some badly rendered consentual sex.

Now, the other example is Manhunt 2. Banned in Europe, generally viewed as being morally repugnant, the developer of this game was forced to cut some of the worst bits out just to make possible to sell it in America. It still has a strong M rating with good reason.

Now it isn't that this game is violently anti-social or anything that really scared Hillary, no it is that the Wii version of it, what with those motion sensitive controls, was training kids to be little assassins.

We can only hope little Jimmy is nowhere near a real sword after playing the legend of Zelda. Any Star Wars games could be a problem too.

Now the thing of it is, this is the sort of news the otherwise uninformed young voter is going to see. They aren't watching the news they are going to games review sites to see what sort of game they want to buy, and when they see this sort of thing it puts them off of Hillary entirely.
