Fortunately, here in the US we would never wrongly put someone to death. Oh, wait...
Apathy. It's killing all of us, not just the poor.
Anyone who is swayed by todays headlines or catch-phrases was only looking for reinforcement of their beliefs anyway. I believe any person that sincerely keeps up with news realizes how, in the end, it's all about making money as opposed to accuracy. Headlines have to create drama. Drama sells. The belief that news was ever impartial is a fantasy.
It is so exciting to see! With a wee bit more apathy on our parts the presidential race will be pure spectacle and entertainment! It is such an exciting time for tv fans like myself. No more boring political questions at all just shtick and zingers.
"sigh"
It is so nice to hear that no matter what democrat is nominated, we've already won. I remember reading all about Kerry's obvious future victory in Salon as well, until he lost. I sure hope we don't start getting article after article from Salon telling us how there is no way we can loose this time. Let's just save the champaign until after the election please. We still have a loooong way to go. Word to your mother.
May I suggest you leave it to the readers who lives and who dies? Simply ad a rating system that the readers can vote on. If enough readers feel the comment is garbage and rate it so, voila, the commente goes away. Check out digg or slashdot for how to deal with "trolls" or morons. Please don't waste your creative talents on chasing these folk, they're too quick and wiley for ya!
It seems to me that this may be EXACTLY the outcome "they" were looking for. You have to ask yourself, who profits in chaos?
I cannot be the only person sick and tired of ugly children. This seems like a perfectly reasonable way to make a growing segment of our population more visually appealing and I don't see anything wrong with that. I actually think our MSM has been doing this to our news for quite some time and that hasn't caused any problems. Oh, wait...
I like that my neighborhood is peaceful. In general though the world is not a peaceful place. Add to that reality increasingly limited resources. I wish we lived on a planet that was peaceful and abundant but we don't. I wish our government was friendly and the world loved America and all Americans because we are so damn nice and always helping. In reality we are a powerful nation that consumes the worlds limited resources faster than anyone else. That tends to piss some people off. As Americans, the majority of us enjoy our cars and Wendy's hamburgers and don't want to give them anytime soon. If that's the case we need to be not peaceful and take what we need, by force if necessary. That's how humans have done it from the beginning. Just ask the Neanderthals. Oops, you can't. Your ancestors killed them and took their resources. Lucky for you. My long winded point is, I hate that we have to fight. I don't like Bush. But I have come to believe that the "war" is going exactly as planned and that we will have troops in Iraq until the last drop of oil is pumped. Our government is big and strong and will fight for us because we are to fat from eating Wendy's and our kids kids will be glad they did even if we aren't.
Oh DON'T believe the hype. Well here I was getting all ready to BELIEVE it all. Thanks for the heads up!
INVADE IRAN!!!
I wish that lady at the bar was running. She'd have my vote.
We get it! He's a moron. There are lot's of morons. Why does Salon continually cover this guy like he is somebody of importance or that anything he says or does has any meaning or value. I just don't get it.
It just so happens that your friend here is only MOSTLY dead. There's a big difference between mostly dead and all dead. Mostly dead is slightly alive. With all dead, well, with all dead there's usually only one thing you can do.
Inigo Montoya: What's that?
Miracle Max: Go through his clothes and look for loose change.
This dinkus ain't be nuttin but a cartoon character. Yes, he's got x million viewers but they are all 104 and locked away in their old folks homes and walled off communities. Real humans don't take this loser seriously and most of the fake ones don't either. For the love of all things holy and delightfully delectable, stop taking the bait.
Eighty-four percent of women believe in angels, compared to 72 percent of men. Belief in the devil is about the same for both groups - 70 percent for women, and 69 percent for men.
The 2004 figures are based on a Harris telephone poll of 519 adults. The poll has a margin of error of plus or minus 5 percentage points.
I heard they were also illegal immigrants and all of them have donated to Hillary's campaign!
What full suit Obama is.
Enough of the free publicity.
I don't make a move without his approval.
He has about the same amount of relevance.
Approximately 170,000 people will die today. I guess he's one of them.
I love how self righteous and aghast everyone is. It's not like her body was found in his trunk. Give the guy a break. We are all flawed in our own little ways, his flaw just happens to be a very common one.
I guess I should stop blaming my wife's vote for Nader as the root of our nation's ills.
Can't they even come up with their own slogan?
When they say what I want them to. I hope I don't hate them again between now and the election.
I will be able to laugh and enjoy all this so much more AFTER Obama wins...
