The invasion and occupation of Iraq made the entire world less safe, triply so for Americans.

There was nothing about 911 that justified the invasion of Iraq. 911 only provided the catalyst that most of this current administration needed to carry out their dreams concerning Iraq.

Before we invaded Iraq, Zarqawi was hanging about in a portion of Iraq that was lost to Sadam and which we patrolled aerially. Zarqawi was not very important until we gave him the opportunity to play "bin Laden and the Commies in Afgani" with us only in Iraq. If we thought he was a threat, we could have taken him out. Instead Bush kept associating 911 and Sadam and we invaded Iraq to do a "regime change". Something that had nothing to do with the acts of terrorism against the USA.

Terrorism did not begin on 911 and will not end when we blow up the middle east.

If the true motive behind the actions of this administration was to eliminate the terrorists who conjured and carried out the disaster on 911, we would still be in Afganistan stabilizing that country and be in Pakistan searching for bin Laden. We would also be applying as big a pressure as we can on Saudi Arabia which, at the very least tolerates the indoctrination of their young to seek vengence against the USA.

Let's not for get where bin Laden and most of the hijackers came from. And where Zarqawi came from.

Hint: neither country was Iraq.

I guess this is part of the treating all females as pre pregnant - just in case.

It used to be that if you were female and applying for a job, you could be asked if you were pregnant or intended to be.

Why are these young women wasting there high fertility years at college? Surely they can get an education later after raising children?

Beating and ironing girls budding breasts should be just as abhorrant a responce to rape as castrating boys to prevent them from growing up to be rapists.

The real story here is why he went to DR. And I have real doubts it was for the beautiful beaches. That he is still playing fast and lose with prescription drugs - hope that trips him up good. But he has a lot of money and a good lawyer so I won't bet on it.

I just hope what he was doing in DR comes out. His die hard dittoheads will rationalise but the tarnish would be on his carreer - eventually these nasties do finally whither away. Dr Laura anyone?

Then why were we engaged in a "traditional battle with a nation-state", and now occupying that nation-state even though it had nothing to do with "the worldwide, hydra-headed enemy, who lurks in the shadows"?

So . . . Bush ordered Cheney to discredit Wilson and then the whole fiasco gets press time and Bush declares that he will get rid of anyone who was involved with the outing of Plame and then later, declares that we'll probably never find out who leaked her identity, eh?

It never occured to him that there might be a connection between what he told Cheney to do and what transpired?

Maybe it did occur to him and he asked and Cheney either lied or told the truth?

Anyway you look at it - Bush is either totally ignorant of what is going on, or a player in the undermining of our democracy - just further proof that he is unqualified to be President.

If Americans do not wake up - we will deserve the country we are in the process of getting.
