Oh - Cry me a river!

Bush is angry? Well, that is just too damned bad.

I've been in a state of helpless anger since his campaign to confuse Osama with Sadam was launched.

And will still be angry as the mess Bush has made of America becomes even more tangible in the years to come, years when Bush will be "retired" and comfortably shielded from the chaos the rest of us will have to deal with.

Thank you Colbert. Thank you for finding yourself in a situation where Bush would have to hear what you say, and not taking the easy way out, not pulling a "Leno".

Mother Son Purity Balls?

There is something very "Pretty Baby" about these Balls. (And I am sure there is something of a Beavis-Butthead joke in the phrase "Purity Balls")

If "purity" (aka sexual ignorance) is valued - then were are the similar pushes for the boys to remain pure?

Who do these people think have sex with the girls?

Yuck! These people seem to have some sort of hymen fetish.

Cheney treatment?

Perhaps he should be allowed to be left alone until tomorrow morning - then give his statement.

You know - just like in the Cheney shooting incident.

Future Frat Boyz

Reducing people to a collection of body parts is always objectionable.

If I was the parents of one of these boys, I would be horrified. Just as I would be if I found my child torturing the neighbours cat. Wonder where the young men who join Frat houses and then think gang fucking okay come from? Take the names of these boys and check on them in 7 years.

No - I am not over reacting, nor am I ignoring normal hormonally induced stupidity.

These boys on not sneaking their dad's Penthouse, they are dehumaninzing girls they go to school with.

I wonder what they will be like when they grow up and get a job and work with women?

What if?

For those who say that since this was done "off campus" and therefore not the school's business, what if the list was of the top 25 boys/girls/teachers who deserve to be dead and what kinds of death they deserve? Or a list of boys who deserve broom sticking?

What these boys did was to create a hostile environment in the school for the girls on this list. It most likely impacted their schooling.

Against the law? I don't know. Schools need to provide a safe place for their students - students should be able to go to school and be prepared to learn and not have to fear physical or sexual bullying.

If I could do anything, I would expell those boys and the parents would have to put their "boyz" in therapy before they would be allowed back. The degree that these boys dehumanized the girls and the public distribution of the list - that is far over the top.

Look around the world for examples!

" when fertility (or potential fertility) is deliberately excluded from that giving I am convinced that something valuable is lost. A husband will sometimes begin to see his wife as an object of sexual pleasure who should always be available for gratification"

Show me ONE country out there where women, having little access to birth control or where birth control is considered illegal/immoral, where women are not treated as chattel and objects for sexual gratification.

And this country would be different because . . . .?

Oh - and in the good ole days when birth control was illegal - women most definately were considered chattel. Good "christian" americans used to believe there was no such thing as marital rape.

Company you keep.

Ann Coulter is on record stating that women should not have the right to vote too.

Just hope all these "women" who think women should not have the right to vote practice what they preach.

Would they get the irony?

Think not - the current "conservatives" don't seem to do irony.

"I Love a Man In a Uniform" by Gang of Four should be on the list!
