What a Sham.....

Is anyone really supprised?. When I opened my Sunday Morn NYT and saw the expose' I thgouht, boy is this going to ruffel some feathers, not even a peep!. Until the American people demmand more and as long as Deal or no Deal / American Idol take in more viewers than read / watch the news, the mainstream media will not change. Sad commentary on our Nation durring such a critical time, History will not judge us well........

Original article: I was wrong about Wright

Wright is the same as Fallwell and the rest of their ilk...

Wright is no worse or better than the rest of the cooky religious right. Just because he is black does not make him better than his white counter parts other than he does do some genuine good work for those in his community. Name one popular religious orator who is not slightly nutty / Narccissistic etc!. FACT, Obama has more to prove than Hillary, he is black so therefore he has to distance himself from controversial figures, even if those he assicates with are NO worse than the John Hegge's of the world.

Lapel Pins.

Cooky pastors.

Cheap patriotisim.

Everyone just Chill and keep your eye on the Prize!!!

Fret not, McCain is going down and the more slimy he becomes the more his base becomes fired up and the rest of us and even those so called undecided ( can there still be undecided @ this point!!?? )will walk away from his ticket..

McCain will HAVE TO throw mud tonight and Obama will just deflect it by disussing the Economy, Iraq, Wall Street, Housing Market, etc etc etc etc... It's basicaly over BUT poeple should not becomes to comfortable, Obama has to win Big ( I.E. Mandate ) and with some additional seats in the House and Senate he will have real pwr to change things...

The Republican Party is in shambles and the McCain / Palin ticket is a sad spectacle indeed.

Yeah it's worthing talking about!!!

I do not think Mrs Palin's clothing is important BUT what is important is the "Do as I say not as I do" line from the GOP. If Hillary had spent that much Limbaugh, FOX , CNN etc etc would be foaming @ the mouth and Palin portrays herself as some down home "Hockey Mom". All BS...

Between the ding bat who carved a "B" into her face and sadi she was robbed by a 6'4" black man and this clothing spree is a perfect ending to a pathetic McCain / Palin campaign.....

Original article: The Republican shipwreck

100% dead on....

Yes I am a Dem, BUT no one with straight face can say both parties are equally partisan, that is BS. Take a look @ the last 20 years, the Republicans have come in to serious power via Limabugh, Newt, FOX, K Street, etc. The neo cons know that Americans would have never opted for war with Iraq if they knew the threat was not there, even if the Neo Cons explained their intentions for better middle east stability,so they lied to go to war.

If Americans knew how much they were each paying for WAR, Bailouts and tax breaks to the rich, they would most certainly be appaled.

Hurricane Katrina was a shame, with Bush's 3rd world response.

Other than race baiting, hating gays and tax cuts what do they have to offer?. Seriously?.

The bizzare part of this whole story is how much they had and how much they wasted, just think after 911 if the Republican party TRULLY had a real agenda for good, where the US might be right now and frankly how much power the Republicans would still have, they blew it!. They won the lottery and lost the winnings, unfourtunatley many peole are paying with their lives.

Obama is no savior but you know he will actually LEAD and suround himself with smart, experinced people, someting the current office holder can claim non of.......

Original article: Is Detroit worth saving?

Forget it!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Honda, Toyota, Hyundai, KIA, etc etc etc dont need bail outs!. The American car makers MUST have strict guidlines if more of my tax dollors go to bailing out yet another Bohemeoth of a US company!!.

The Big three bet their entire future on SUV's, the Japanese also built and sold SUV's but you dont see them filing for Chapter 11 becuase they spent $$$$$ on R&D. Their cars last longer have better resale value etc.

It is an embarassment that American car makers cant get thier act together. They do have retirement costs that far exceed their Japaness rivals but that does not cuase their vehicles to sit on the lot.

Original article: Obama surfs through

I think you are BSing us....

Ok, If you gave Camille truth serum would she still "like" Palin?. I wonder if some pontificate to attract readers ( like myself ) to the continuing BS.... Palin may not be dumb but by any stretch she was not / is not ready to lead anything let alone the free world...( Wasilla newspaper endorsed Obama ). All of my female friends ( conservatives included ) said McCains choice screamed of pandering which is the wrost form of flatery.

The only thing Palin woke up was the unhappy base that never has liked McCain. If the GOP is going to focus on the very right of their party they are trully doomed. Palin fired up the base, not with intelligent and real soutions to problems but frankly Race baiting and lying, people have had that for 8 years so they resoundingly sent McCain in to retirement and Palin back to Alaska.
