  • Impeach?

[Read the article: Quote of the Day]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

Are you crazy? All this guy has done is commit election fraud, lie us into war, willfully ignore terrorist threats that resulted in the largest attack in our nations history, threw out indictments against major campaign donors, outed an undercover CIA agent, and gave trillions of our tax dollars away to his friends.

It's not like this guy got a blow job from an intern and lied about it. Perjury and giving false testimony; now that is a major crime. A crime this President will not dare commit or tolerate.

Impeachment. Sheeesssh. That's crazy talk. What is this Tiberius guy smoking?

  • Do you think?

[Read the article: Make that four for McCain]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

Do you think McCain still thinks it was a good idea to sell his soul for George Bush during the last election cycle? Do you think he got everything in return that he was promised from the Bushies?

What a freakin traitorous clown McCain is! May he rot in hell with the rest of the murderers.

  • Someone Should Ask Bush

[Read the article: From Bush, more of the same]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

Saddam was able to keep al qaeda out of Iraq, so why is Bush incapable of doing it?

  • My Man Godfrey...

[Read the article: Cindy Sheehan's wrong turn]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

My Man is "My Man Godfrey"

    Well said.

P.S. - I'm waiting for the cops in my city to say they are "taking speeding tickets off the table." I have a lead foot, and I am getting muscle problems in my hips from holding my heavy foot off the pedal.

  • This IS Good News

[Read the article: Republican senators call for a new Iraq war authorization]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

Better late than never. I hope people don't try to hang out the Republicans who are finally doing the right thing- regardless of their motive.

Welcome them with open arms. It's the right thing for the country.

  • To Stupidis Maximus

[Read the article: Caught on tape]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

I don't recall anyone in this forum calling out who specifically should be allowed into the future debates. What they are saying is that we have a pretty clear picture at this point who has beyond a remote chance of wining the nomination.

The also-rans have already had their chance to point out the flaws of the front runners.

What I find amusing is that Kucinich automatically assumes they were talking about him. Apparently even HE realizes his candidacy is a waste of time and money.

  • Interpretation of Maximus

[Read the article: Caught on tape]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

I interpret your inability to respond as saying: I was self-righteous and incorrect to state the commenters were suggesting that only the candidates of their choosing should be in the debates. When what they were actually saying was the given-a-chancers are now not-a-chancers, and merely creating a distraction.

    Apology accepted.

  • He Blames this on his MARIAGE, not on HIMSELF

[Read the article: Vitter: "I believe I received forgiveness from God"]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

This quote from Vitter really kills me: "Like all marriages, ours is not perfect."

That statement flat out puts some of the blame for this on his wife, who really is a pathetic person in her own right.

She came out after Hillary Clinton for being a weak person when she forgave her husband. Now when the shoe is on the other foot, not only is she unwilling to back up her tough talk, but she actually allows her husband to pin the blame on their MARRIAGE instead of himself.

    Very pathetic. Very Republican.

  • This is the Best Idea Yet

[Read the article: 16 transferred from Guantánamo to Saudi Arabia]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

Take a bunch of innocent people we've beaten and tortured and send them to Saudi Arabia.

It's not like that country has ever had any terrorists in it who wanted to fly planes into skyscrapers within the United States.

    I feel safer already.

These fucking future terrorists should have to start wearing tags that say "made in US /Cuba." We should start taking credit for the few products we actually still make in this country.

  • I Think James Carville was Right

[Read the article: Three Stooges strategery]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

He said Howard Dean didn't do enough because he thought so many more seats could've and should've been won. But everyone defended Dean and said a simple majority was enough. What more did people want?

Carville essentially said a team of monkeys could've managed enough wins to gain a Democratic majority after what the criminal and warmongering Republicans had put this country through.

A fillibuster proof majority should have been won. Did anyone doubt it would be needed? I think many did.

  • Glenn, you've been Bushwhacked

[Read the article: David Brooks' field trip to the White House]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

You are taking this exactly where Bush wants you to. He has outsmarted you on this one. While you are repulsed by what the conservative "journalists" are exposing about Bush, you seem to believe them and also parrot their claims: Bush is guided by religiosity. This gives him a safe harbor with damn near most people.

The thesis of your article is essentially: Bush is not evil, he is merely misguided.

Bush is a much better actor than Reagan was. This act he is putting on is the best possible face he can put on this situation. He even has the progressives buying it. This guy doesn't have a religious bone in his body. This act is the only reason he hasn't been chased out of office, I assure you!

  • Is the GOP political platform contrary to Catholic teaching?

[Read the article: Is the GOP political platform contrary to Catholic teaching?]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

Yes, by far, thanks for finally asking.

  • Congrats to the Stinking Catholics

[Read the article: Is the GOP political platform contrary to Catholic teaching?]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

The abortion bullshit arguement is the precise reason for where we find ousrelves now.

Where has voting republican gotten the pro-life movement? the republicans controlled every branch of government and did nothing to appease the fools. They've only brought you MORE death and destruction.

    Wake up you ignorant fools!!!!!!!!!

  • This ruling is another step in the criminal conspiracy

[Read the article: Judge dismisses Valerie Plame's lawsuit]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

I would now add this judges name to the lawsuit.

She was sueing President Bush; the same President Bush who put this judge on the bench; Bush put this judge on the bench for the very purpose of ruling in his favor.

One more step in the conspiracy.
