  • Cheney Confirms Limbaugh's Assertion

[Read the article: The Limbaugh-Cheney two-step]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

These cowards (the Bush administration) need to be held accountable for what they're having their proxies say.

By not disavowing Limbaugh's assertion that Reid and Pelosi want "to make sure we come home defeated," Cheney clearly confirms the statement.

Rush is only doing what he is told by his owners who hold his leash (again, the Bush administration).

Cheney allowing Limbaugh to do the dirty work is reminiscent of Cheney's entire life. The man is an absolute coward.

If Pelosi and Reid are unwilling to take of the gloves after comments like this, than they are the same.

  • And one more thing...

[Read the article: The Limbaugh-Cheney two-step]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

with all due respect Alex, I don't think Cheney was "dancing" at all. This was very well orchestrated and played out exactly as planned.

The message was perfectly conveyed to the listeners, and Cheney- hiding behind Rush- maintains plausible deniability.

Again with all due respect, it fooled you, Alex. You put the words in Rush's mouth, not Dick's.

Dich needs to "step up to the plate" and take accountability for his pet's actions.

I think President Bush has a job for you in the state department. He likes your my-way-or-the-highway sense of diplomacy. He also likes your belief that Congress is an irrelevant body. "I'm not sure why members of Congress travel abroad." Go read the Constitution.

And by chance you do happen to perform any historical research, look up some of the horrible things the Catholic church used to do. Acceptance of that religion in America changed it world wide.

Countries change from within. There is nothing your self-righteousness can do to change Syria. Take Iraq for example. We can sacrifice all the troops George Bush wants to in order to implement a governing style we desire, but if the Iraqi's aren't on board, well, I guess that's just a waste of American life.

Our acceptance of that religion in our own country, and summarily weeding out the bad elements, will be what changes that religion world wide. See all chrisitan forms of religion as an example.

  • It's hard for Bush to fire a friend

[Read the article: Another Republican calls for Gonzales' resignation]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

because friends come before the good of the country, and all good leaders/CEOs know this. Am I wrong?

  • I've been waiting for this

[Read the article: The GOP's secret weapon?]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

Actually, I've always assumed that the people who are really running this country behind the puppet George would have Cheney in the oval office around 18 months from the end of George's term. Through impeachment or "other" means.

They've got to be worried about what Georgie Boy is going to do- and say- once his public service is over. I mean, he may have actually been present and awake for some of the discussions that took place. Is he going to get drunk and tell people what was really going on?

Cheney and the others are scared shitles about turning the White House over to someone who might make a big stink about what they find. Who do they trust? Not one of the existing candidates.

Sure Cheney couldn't get the votes, but since when has that mattered?

  • I have two questions:

[Read the article: A very expensive neocon love affair]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

Why are there hookers working at the state department?

Why does this hooker only charge Wolfie $193,000 to sleep with her?

  • Administration is Scared to Fire People

[Read the article: Can Gonzales help himself?]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

Let's not over-analyze this concept of why nobody in this administration is fired.

I guarentee folks in the administration would LOVE for Gonzales to voluntarily resign. But they're scared shitless of pissing him off. He- like the others- knows too much.

If this were the mob they'd just whack him. His stupidity presents a liability that outweighs the usefullness of his blind loyalty. It was inevitable.

His delicate ego has convinced his pee-sized brain that if he can somehow retain his job, the world will not realize he was nothing more than a stooge put in place to allow for corruption.

I believe Bush refused Rumsfeld resignation a few times before accepting it. If Bush would have accepted it on one of the first couple tries, Rumsfeld would've sold them all down the river to make it look like he wasn't the dumbass. As it turned out, the Administration was able to convince him he was a brilliant martyr who was a victim of the liberal media. Disaster averted.

    Intact egos tell no tales.

  • I'll Answer your Question RealName

[Read the article: Injured troops shipped back into battle]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

The answer to your question is that you put them in a role deemed appropriate by a qualified M.D., in some cases this might be discharge, in others, back to the lines. I saw this often serving in Gulf War I.

I have three questions for you:

Why would you say something like "I know that control freaks tend to explode when you ask them simple direct questions, but give it a whirl. I'll wear a raincoat in case you burst.." when you have failed to answer fairly direct questions posed to you by Anonymouns?

Would that be irony or hypocrisy? I always get those mixed up.

I am assuming since you are not currently in Iraq, that you are both unfit and injured. Is this correct?

  • RealName

[Read the article: Injured troops shipped back into battle]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

Perhaps you were unable to comprehend my previous post, but I was essentially agreeing with you that there is a role to play in the military for the walking wounded, as long as that role is approved by medical personell.

I hope you were wearing your raincoat when you saw the direct questions from Anonymous that you are too cowardly to address. Or the questions from me you are too cowardly to address.

And I have another question. Just out of curiosity, which war did you volunteer for?

  • George Bush = John Kerry; let's see if media agrees

[Read the article: A meeting with the president]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

John Kerry voted against an Iraqi spending bill because he vehemently disagreed with a portion of the bill unrelated to the actual funding of the troops. He was villified by the Bush administration and the media for "being against the troops."

Georgie Boy set the precedent, he damn well and sure better be held to it.
