re. Sunday morning ...

By playing with chief priest warren, Obama has pandered with the very people that elected this current administration. As we can see, the current administration has created quite a pickle for lots of people, here and globally. So, yup, we now are officially a christian nation with a large group a non-evangelicals wondering what has happened to our nation. In my opinion, all these evangelicals are responsible for the pickle we are in. As Grant (General) stated, the transgressions of individuals and nations usually come back to haunt them. Well, in my opinion, an evangelical losing their house and /or job is as hard on a non-evangelical. I do hope we reach a point where once more church and state are parallel institutions. Otherwise, who knows Jefferson could come back and give them quite a scolding. If we take away the tax exemptions from these priests they may indeed have to go back and actually find a job and work for a living.

Original article: A pit bull in lipstick?

re: pit bulls, lipstick and the constitution

re: "... he's worried someone won't read 'em their rights."

By her statement, it seems that the constitution does not really mean anything to her. At least, the current boys in the WH do it behind closed doors in a cigar smoke filled room. Then again, am sure she is now their ultimate pawn to break the constitution. She sure would be quite "ticked" off when she finds that she is the pawn for the real pit bulls. Her ignorance is her bliss, for now.

It is all about race, after all

In my opinion, race is the issue in my "small" town. In fact, I do not have an Obama-Biden bumper sticker or yard sign since I do not want my car or house vandalized. It is even more profound that my kids tend to be almost silent on our support for Obama-Biden (at school, church etc). Albeit, with things looking like 50-50, we shall see the results of our "American" values "test". Either way, if Obama-Biden wins, they will be governing 50% of bitter people. So, we have lost anyhow. Suffice to say, evolution will correct all of this in the long haul.

Decisions by the Secretary pursuant to the authority of this Act are non-reviewable and committed to agency discretion, and may not be reviewed by any court of law or any administrative agency

In my opinion, this single line could negate everything else in our financial part of society. After all these years, I often wondered how people could create some magical diety. I now have no more wondering to do. The act creates god, in this case the god of finance. We do have a polytheistic system of gods with other gods too, which during the last 8 years have multiplied quite well.

Once this line is deleted, then I will dig in deeper and am sure have an opinion. If it is left in, then I do not really want to waste my time digging in deeper.

Obviously, as a lowly tax payer who did not play with a sub prime loan (yup, the mortages I have required so much documentation it left me somewhat perturbd) chances are they are not going to buy my mortgages. So, after this is all said and done the bank can then leverage my "good" mortgages and proceed to write new sub prime mortgages. And the cylce repeats itself, again just like evolution. And yes, the gods will multiply again.

Thumpin makes things better for everyone, ultimately

Once we had the Democratic-Republicans and the Whigs, some of whom, morphed into Republicans while the Democratic-Republicans became Democrats. The Republicans then (the party of Lincoln) made the Union whole and enabled the slaves to once more be what they always were anyhow, namely Human Beings. During this time, the Democrats were againsts such basic things that all Humans are indeed Humans who could choose to be religious and even get married and have babies that, yes, were also Humans. Fast forward to Johnson, and we have a Democratic Johnson who furthered the basic Human rights through the civil rights act. At that time, the Republicans became "Democrats" and the Democrats became "Republicans", at least from a Human rights ideological standpoint. Ever since then, the South has been Republican, for the most part. So, in my opinion, the shift in ideologies are going to shift once more between parties. The shift is very much the same process that evolution follows in nature. In fact, even the economy runs in the same process too. What pops out is usually something better (since, something worse just fades away anyhow) that mutates and evolves, again.
