You hit it right out of the park.
The Dems are involved in these illegalities right up to their eyeballs.
Why do you think Rockefellow led the charge? The leader of the Intelligence Committee since 2001, of course he knew everything that was happening. And he was a good little boy and kept quiet.
Anyway, that's not important now.
How do I go about getting Obama elected and where can I give some $$$$ to my favorite Dems?
The Dems repeatedly give the public some table scraps and tell you it's a Filet Mignon dinner. The good little boys and girls that we are, thank them repeatedly, and some, even give these babied millionaires some of their hard-earned money as a reward for getting some scraps.
Yes, there were some Dems who voted against the bill but it was the Power Structure and The Establishment Dems who allowed this to happen.
The Party should get and deserves no slack, and anyone who rationalizes THIS vote deserves what they get.
The Great Orange one finally addresses his little Tangerines regarding the new FISA bill:
Of course, the lead on his much anticipated summation is: Hillary Clinton!
His thesis to the messes is that Hillary would have done the same if she were the nominee. Even though she voted the right way yesterday!
The word is the Kossacks, upon reading the tomb all simultaneously nodded in agreement, before executing the traditional Mass Democratic Genuflect to the Great One.
And the munchkins are getting all greased up. It took less than 24 hours for the let-bygones-be-bygones lemmings to run to the desk drawers to get their autograph pad and pens out:
An example:
But that's why this is good (15+ / 0-)We should give some credit that they're coming to the community's house after the kerfuffle.

Now we know when the Dems sold-out the Fourth Amendment at least they got something back for their efforts.
I mean that really is a cool lookin' goody bag. And I'm sure it will be filled with some kickin' coupons to steakhouses in Denver, a leather travel kit (razors included) and (rumor has it) a chance to go see the Rockies play in September. Plus, all attendees to the convention will get some free minutes on their telephone cards courtesy of AT&T.
Dems -- party of change!!!
If this guy Sunstein is one of the best legal minds in the country then I am investing in some study guides to take the LSAT, ASAP.
OMG what is going on in this world? This guy Sunstein actually said that he didn't believe Bush would grant "pre-emptive pardons" because it would be political suicide.
In fact, I think he said he would be "shocked''.
WTF. Has this guy Sunstein been living on Planet Earth the past eight years or was he just beamed in from Jupiter right before the NetRoots Convention.
Well, Sunstein let me break it down for you: there is indeed gambling going on in this saloon and I will cover any monetary action for those on your side of the fence in regards to the "pre-emptive pardon" issue.
It's as close to a sure "bet" as there is.
After listening to the Goodman/Sunstein/Greenwald interview again, I sincerly doubt that Sunstein put much effort into ACTUALLY reading the entire FISA bill. I doubt he actually read more than a Democratic summarized version of the legislation (if that).
To me, he sounded like a smart man who was trying to fake his way through the interview, using generalities based more in politics than legal scholarship. There was no There, there.
Anyway, I think Sunstein, and his rationalization of the facts during the 20-minute sitdown, is a prime example of why so many traditional liberals, Left wingers, the working class and civil libertarians are disenchanted with the Beltway Dems.
And it is why this Presidential election will be much closer than it should be and why the Dems will pick up only 15-20 seats in the House.
More than any election in my lifetime, with all things being equal, the November elections should be a landslide of epic proportions.
But the institutionalized Dems will prevent that from happening, simply because they care little about the interests and concerns of their Base.
Sunstein, and his attitude, is Example A of this.
