Thank you Sir. May I have another!

I see Dems around the internets are really, really mad at Obama.

Some aren't going to "max out" there contributions to him...until next month (maybe?).

Some are going to write mean e-mails to his website and call his staff and tell them they are very, very angry and disappointed with him.

I imagine some are busy peeling their "Vote Change, Vote Obama" bumper stickers off their BMWs at this moment.

But a good portion of the Gump crew has rationalized to the point that they think ObamaGod's vote on FISA might be a good deal in the long run. Afterall, the Government has been spying on us illegally for decades anyway so this just makes it legal.

Besides education is a more important topic for the Dems.

But the one thing you can bet those thousands and thousands of Web Dems won't do, is vote for McCain, or stay home or - God forbid - vote for a third party candidate like Barr or Nader or some socialist. Nahhh, that would be just throwing your vote away and they're much too sophisticated for that.

This is a serious, important election, Remember.

The Supreme Court is at stake. A woman's right to choose is riding on the outcome. And don't forget the three ''I's'' - Iran, Iraq and Israel .

So because of that I'm going to Vote Obama they write.

And if he loses, rest assured it won't be the candidates fault or the Party Leadership's fault or least of all the Netroots complicity in perpetrating the Obama myth. No it will be because of Rush and Faux News and the Wall Street Journal Editorial page and Bill and Hillary Clinton.

So until then, Mr. Obama can you make that next spanking with a steel rod right between the eyes, pretty, pretty please!!!

THANK YOU

Thank You Sir, May I Have Another!

I see Dems around the internets are really, really mad at Obama.

Some aren't going to "max out" their contributions to him...until next month (maybe?). Some are only giving $$$ to the DCCC, DSCC, the DNC or some local schmuck.

Some have already written mean e-mails to his website and called his staff and to tell them they are very, very angry and disappointed with ObamaGod.

I imagine some are busy peeling their "Vote Change, Vote Obama" bumper stickers off their BMWs at this moment.

THANK YOU, Sir.

Magritte's pipe

My gripe isn't with real liberals, it's with the pseudo libs. The so-called academics, the above-the-fray Dems.

The ones who specialize in media criticism economics, political polling and foreign policy who, every two and four years, take up the fight on behalf of the "real", regular liberals (i.e. Democrats).

However, based on the past decade, these people should have no street cred based on past declarations but they do.

Remember in 2000, Lieberman wasn't the best choice as a VP candidate but Gore "could have done worse," they told us on a daily basis.

How'd that turnout?

Then it was Nader's fault Gore lost Fla., all the while neglecting to note that a couple of guys named Perot and Buchanan had a little to do with the 1992 and 96 election outcomes.

In '04, Kerry was the only "electable" one and Edwards was a "no-brainer" for VP. And Howard Dean, the Anti-War candidate, was unstable.

At the time, over 70-percent of the Dem base and about 50-percent of the general population was against the War - so naturally the "smart move" was to nominate 2 guys who supported it.

How'd that turnout?

Fast forward to this year, where Bill Kristol and David Brooks with an assist from the likes of Alterman and other "smart" libs, started trumping Obama, an inexperienced, one-term U.S. Senator from the Chicago area, as the perfect Democratic candidate for Prez.

Naturally, the Kosby Kids and Fluffington Posters ate that idea up because, afterall, he wasn't Hillary and he gave good speech.

As for his platform, well, What me Worry?

Now, they are in a pickle.

Really, I hope Obama wins but right now I would consider that an upset.

But rest assured, the Repubs are running against who they wanted to run against. And now, ObamaGod has pissed off a lot of his die-hards. Well, atleast they aren't as die-hard as they were this time last week.

And remember, the Repubs haven't even started the "serious" race, Muslim, anti-American, Al Qaeda-baiting yet.

That full throttle attack won't start until the GOP Convention - with Joe Lieberman, the 2000 "Smart" Dem VP choice, having a starring role in the festivities.
