Traitor Joe is such an obnoxious hypocrite that it is difficult to read through this matter knowing that he has contracted the Republican habit of lying outright to make a point. Traitor Joe has turned his career into a “me first” scenario, and I for one would like to know who’s paying his bills. Looking back on election history, it seems as if Al Gore made such a mistake choosing Traitor Joe as a running partner, that maybe Al Gore should be in show-biz, instead of government. Certainly having this creep on the ticket is akin to malfeasance, and now it’s up to the people of Traitor Joe’s home state to send him to the dumpster where he belongs.
If what the author claims is true that Bush has a surprising intellect and is held in deep respect by his subordinates, etc, then one has to assume because of his choices and behavior that he has a criminal mind or doesn’t know the difference between right and wrong. Why the lies and intrigue if not to deceive?
Who knew Bush had a foreign policy?
You wish. Without Bush, Israel, New York City and probably Omaha, Nebraska would be left in smoldering ruins. President Bush saved your butt whether you like it or not.

Gosh, I thought all the neo-con trolls were working over at Huffingtonpost.com. The depth of delusion is indeed staggering with these people.
"At the Berkeley College Republicans table, Josh Curtis, 18, declares that he's already cast his absentee ballot for John McCain. "Sweet!" cheers a fellow GOP'er in a Cal sweatshirt. For Curtis, whose top issues are foreign policy, the economy and abortion, it was a pragmatic choice. "McCain is the only one who can win the general election on the Republican side," he says. He also considers himself more moderate on immigration and the environment, like McCain, but shares the most similarity with his candidate on the war. "I think it's important that America stick it out until the end, when Iraqis have enough security to really establish their political system. I think that if we left now, it could be chaos or even genocide."
Seems to me that if this young person is so gung-ho he should be shouldering the real responsibility and enlist. Truth be told, the next president will have no choice but to start a new draft. The country has used up its soldiers. So, Mr. Josh Curtis, work on your push-ups!
At one time it was understood that presidents and candidates were not saints, and not much different than any other collection of humans that were playing drop–the-hanky or drop-the-soap as long as their actions didn’t result in heinous crimes like murder. The Republican right and the right-wing Christian community threw open the barn doors on all kinds of gossip, insinuations and *sins* by public people that never should have seen the light of day. Now it’s all coming back to haunt them. The Bible-thumpers have sown seeds that will prevent any except archangels from running for office in the United States. It’s a foolish gambit and impractical. Some of our most beloved public figures were caught with their flies open or their skirts raised. The ironic thing that strikes my fancy is that so many leaders now claiming to be for wholesome ideals have been caught in back alleys with their pants down and lots of money on the deck.
Joe Conason writes: “With his [Senator McCain’s] campaign already sowing the arguments for a wider conflict, we will not be able to say we weren't warned.”
If I were a young person in this country I’d be very afraid. The military is already stretched to the breaking point and even continuing the occupation of Iraq will most likely require a draft. If Senator McCain were elected and widened the scope of this ill-advised adventure a draft may be mandatory, even if he does the unthinkable and goes nuclear.
As reprehensible as the neo-cons (read chicken hawks) are they have proven that given power there is no scheme too outlandish or immoral for them to pursue.
If I had a young child I’d be very afraid as well, because Senator McCain has essentially said that this war could last nigh onto forever. Certainly those who were thirteen when the war started are now of draft age. Mom and Dad you might want to consider this when you go to the polls.
The truth is that Mrs. Clinton is toast. However, every day that passes while her campaign throws barbs at Senator Obama is hurting the Democrats chances of taking back the White House, and also keep control of the House and Senate. It’s way past time for Mrs. Clinton to get off of her entitlement campaign and look to the good of the country (if she possibly could get over herself).
I’d caution the Republicans, however, not to dig too deeply into Senator Obama’s past because Senator McCain has a massive closet of forgotten sins and who knows what else waiting to be dragged into the light of day. Let’s not forget the Keating Five or the fact that Senator McCain was cheating on his old wife before he married the current one (ala Rudy). The Senate has already criticized Mr. McCain for questionable conduct. Do we want another tainted man in the White House? Just because George Bush has lowered the bar into the gutter doesn’t mean we have to leave it there.
Much of the initial coverage about Fort Hood turned out to be wrong. Is there anything wrong with that?
