  • Strange how this "botnet" has lead to such a fundrasing shocker.

[Read the article: Are you part of Ron Paul's botnet?]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

You know, people are trying very hard to attack Ron Paul. The problem is that the only way they can find to do it is to go after some of his zany supporters. Are we all so naive? I'm sure Hillary has avowed Leninists supporting her but I don't think that means a whole lot.

Ron Paul has managed to translate a "botnet" into almost $3 million in donations for the month of October alone. Those are some major numbers considering the average donation is reported to be around $50.

All of you need to wake up and stop thinking there is some grand conspiring army of "spammers" out there inflating his numbers. He raised more money than Romney last quarter for Christ's sake.

Also, in regards to the above post, the income tax is was NOT in the Constitution of 1787. In fact, an unapportioned tax like the Income tax was forbidden by the original document. The 16th amendment, which is what is cited to justify the income tax, wasn't added until 1913. For the first time in American history, all American's turned over the ownership of their persons, property, and labor to the US Government. Isn't it nice that we're allowed to keep a percentage of it?
