I'm impressed at how many men spend hours upon hours at this blog writing variations on a theme: "I hate women so much I can't think about anything else." Sure, brightstar, for instance, thinks he varies it up. But you don't really need to read his comments, since they are all basically that point made in a million different ways. What breaks inside a man to make him so hateful?
Good lord, there are a lot of strange people in this thread with very odd ideas about sex. How do you Victorians figure out to use a computer? Or is it really---as I suspect---a bunch of bitter, unlaid men taking it out on someone they envy because she actually gets some?
Judicial Watch is not a public interest group, but a far right, misogynist organization with a particular hatred of Hillary Clinton. They are misrepresenting the data---Gardasil actually has a far lower complaint rate than most vaccines.
I suspect it's a hoax. She bags on Planned Parenthood a lot, and uses a few terms that are evocative of anti-choice propaganda. Plus, abortions don't take long enough to justify putting up a blog. The distance of time between discovering you're pregnant and aborting is brief, especially early on. A week, maybe.
If she has a change of heart, then we'll know---hoax.
If you use mulch generously, you don't have to weed barely at all. I use wood chips, but I hear that straw is the best.
That gardening only saved a little money. But I'll bet produce prices double in the next year or two, and suddenly you'll be saving a lot by gardening. The skeptics here are classic short-sighted Americans.
I've seen sexists here minimize rape, domestic violence, and other abuses towards women. But minimizing serial murder of innocent women is a new low. He wasn't "just" a violent robber---they don't usually keep fetishistic keepsakes.
exhibit zero sense of comprehension about the requirement for optimal relating
Agile, I thought you should reread what you wrote, so you know how it sounds. Someone who would actually use the term "optimal relating" shouldn't be in the business of telling anyone else how to relate to other people on any level. You can't even handle the basic task of realizing humans aren't software.
I would have pointed out that she acts like her parents are tyrants, because a) locking a kid out b) refusing to let her have some privacy to make out with her boyfriend c) not letting her have some time alone with her friends and d) giving her a 10:00 curfew is tyranny. They appear to think their daughter is 12. She's 16, and like a lot of parents, they can't accept that. She's two years away from adulthood. They should give her the opportunity to grow into gracefully instead of keeping her as a 12-year-old and then pushing her out and expecting her to be an adult.
Since your cut-off date is '98. Seriously, you don't need anything to compare it to---it's awesome on its own. They are definitely one of the best bands to come out in the past decade. I liked them before their disco phase, and liked them better after their last album. Every human being I've forced to listen to their music became an instant fan. Especially if you see them live---now that they're famous, people show up knowing what to expect, but back when they were unknown, it was fabulous seeing them turn crowds of cooler-than-thou hipsters into dancing machines.
It's actually their 4th. The one that hit so big is their 3rd album.
A woman who claims she wants to abort because the baby's scheduled to be born under the wrong sign is telling you, "I'm too mentally unstable to have a baby." Which is a legitimate reason for an abortion, especially since you don't need a reason for a first trimester abortion. She might be telling you that she doesn't want a baby, but she's afraid to tell you why.
When will liberals stop letting conservatives guilt trip us into self-destruction? If a bunch of anti-choicers claim to be feminists, that means, "We are trying to infiltrate your organization and movement to make it irrelevant. We're pretending to be your friends to stab you in the back." "Pro-life" is misogyny, and has no place in any feminist organization.
That's not all that different from some of the self-delusional screeds that regular commenters at Broadsheet write. I'll bet his wife wakes up singing. I would, too, if there was that amazing stack of evidence to present the judge during the divorce. Which, by the way, women file for more than men. So much for that fantasy of male misery with marriage.
The same people who ask women to consider a three-month fetus that may only vaguely resemble a proto-human on an ultrasound as a “baby” seem to be utterly indifferent when it comes to asking a woman to disregard her connection to the actual baby she has nurtured in her womb for nine months, delivered through the mostly torturous process of labor, and held at the moment of birth, with that familiar gooey feeling of counting fingers and toes and recognizing grandpa’s eyes, dad’s nose and her lips.
That this isn't and never was about babies, but about women fucking, and how wrong anti-choicers think that is. If a woman has to give a baby up for adoption, she's been adequately punished for fucking, I suppose---paid her debt back to a patriarchal society by giving a properly married couple a baby.
