Can somebody say?

Bald faced? I'd hate to hear this if I was backing her campaign, the danger/terror/xenophobia card has been played way too many times Mrs. Clinton. I guess she is sticking with what she knows though; lying! Pathetic, please leave the race.

Imaginary snipers

This commercial is almost as bald faced a lie as the snipers/there was no greeting "mispoken" statement made by Mrs. Clinton. This may not stick to her but this does: http://blogs.usatoday.com/onpolitics/2008/03/former-iowa-dem.html Granted it's lower than low but maybe it's just a little true?

I know Obama wasn't the first to ever have a raffle

..and God damnit I just donated again last Saturday night, I should have waited. Wow, those jumpers on the bandwagon sure wasted no time. Of course I wouldn't meet either of the other two if you paid me tome in cocaine and hookers. It sure is silly how the two who "have the experience" for day one in the President's office couldn't pull this one out of their collective ass(es) first and leave the remainders to play "follow the leader". Of course the name of that game (had either of the great hawks had the idea first) would have been "follow the status quo". Here at work they have a quaint, bullshit buzzword called "Change Management"; a catchy little ditty that I suppose was invented to make being layed off a more comfortable predicament, I have since added a "the" in the middle of the phrase and it seems to work much better that way, at least for me. I guess I don't need to go into how that applies to the candidates who are the "old timers"/status quo/self glorified liars. Gotta run to my car now, snipers!

pwned!

Hillary that is.. If you can't cook up a good lie ("I did not have sex with that woman") you really should get back to the kitchen? You made your cake, now it's time to pay the fiddler? Wait, wait! I've got it, the snipers were on the roof of the White House, she was in Bosnia.. That's it!

Tuesday, March 25, 2008 06:01 PM

Wow

This "chat room" is full of "snipers" too!

Tuesday, March 25, 2008 06:08 PM

I know it's sort of pointing the finger but..

Please Salon; remove the ability to comment/post "letters to the editor" in the "War room". Any and all illiterate jackasses have made this so less appealing and much more appalling.

"she possesses the audacity of hopelessness"

"she possesses the audacity of hopelessness"

David Brooks has joined the attack machine:

Bang a gong ...

You make that sound like it's unsound. What I want Hillary to do is make an impassioned speech about the glass ceiling and why she is the most qualified woman to break it, a speech about how women have suffered under the war hunger of angry men and how Indira Ghandi, Margaret Thatcher and Angela Merkel have made great strides in political leadership, and lastly I want her to not only mean it but convince me that she means it. Outdo Obama's speech about race wherein I was floored after the second sentence. Outshine the humility factor of an even half-black, black American as compared to a "white women". If experience is the automatic gain saying of the day I think Barack Obama holds a higher humility standard than the former first lady, but maybe I don't know anything about discrimination having discovered in my early adolescence that I was gay in Ohio in the early 70's. As a totally off topic canticle; You might get to choose your church but you don't choose your sexuality.

Dear god

Where is the edit button? A white women....

Remedial

This is not an issue; it is simply perpetuated as one by the media and a media service I actually pay for (Salon? God, why?! Oh that's right Glenn Greenwald!). I would have expected "the issue" to have died 2 weeks ago after "one" thoughtful and thorough analysis, at least here at Salon, but here we go again! Who knows, maybe I give Americans way too much credit; I obviously give Joan Walsh too much.. Give it up Joan! Why not write about something that's "real" and "exciting" like Hillary and her imaginary Bosnian sniper fire! Now there is a story with some teeth.

Elect the precious!

OMFG, creepy and downright crappy commercial. John "Gollum" McCain, the ring has destroyed his mind and Cindy's face lift. I wonder if Hillary's commercials will look and feel like the Wizard of Oz (with sniping monkeys). Sorry, I couldn't resist.

A little off topic

I like the illustrated Joan Walsh more than the real person. Now, back on topic! Obama may have used his points up with Edwards’ patience but if Edwards were to say endorse Hillary Clinton, any ideal that Edwards ever supposedly stood for would turn to dust and vanish. That’s just my uneducated $0.02.

Please Stop!

Really, this bullshit is killing me. In a Bush country nobody except the poor are "guilty" of "crimes", nobody except the poor are held "accountable" for their "actions" and of course, do-overs or some other bizarre "what have you" are entirely possible after states move up their primaries against the "rules".. Those are "Bush rules", "Democrats".

@ Happy Friend

Very clever! I'm certain that after the bowling/greeting ceremony (which didn’t happen) was over the situation was then so dangerous that he ran to his armored vehicle and put on his flack jacket.

Barack Obama should ignore Hillary

Sure, be cordial but ignore her (she's clueless and frankly, not funny at all) and engage McLame in his gaffe stream. There's a bigger fish to fry Barack, get to work on it before he kills himself with the bullshit express and there is nobody left.

Yes we can,

Yes he did.
