Original article: MoveOn moves in with Pelosi

The right direction

Rome was not built in a day, and neither will Bush and his ravers be dispatched by a proposal for immediate and complete withdrawal. The Pelosi "best chance" proposal and its support from and by polling members of MoveOn is not an affront to anyone who desires an end to the war. It is a step in the right direction and in this ridiculous situation that has been thrust upon us by a pride blinded buffoon and his stoically incompetent advisory that I am certain everyone is just as fed up as I am. That does not however give any of us a pass-card to exercise power and authority without serious consideration of cause and effect, or compromise and debate. We all have thank God that the issue is even on the table today and take realistic steps to bringing our soldiers home and then to responsibly face the even more daunting and impossible task of dealing in Iraq with the diplomatic and political sandstorm that is our fault as a nation. We’re on the same team.

Original article: Fox's Ann Coulter 2.0

Conserva-babe?

Conserva-boob is more like it. She's got all the right baggage for Fox though and I do like the Coulter 2.0 jest. Just because you're potentially physically attractive (to somebody, personally I wouldn't touch her rake!) doesn't mean they won't bite you. Just asks her old bedfellows! This girl looks and sounds like a succubus for certain.

Would you like your pathos..

over or Understated?? It's tragic enough but here's more, just in case. I happened to glance at a newspaper stand today while waiting for a friend. A complete stranger saw my expression and proceeded to tell me that if those students had been allowed to carry weapons then none of that would have happened. I said nothing in return but of course my opinion is completely different in the fact that I don't believe we need guns at all. That means I'm a "lefty" I guess and the guy with the comment doesn't even know what pathos means..

Original article: Who killed the honeybees?

Interesting questions and answers

Thanks Salon for much needed info on the subject. When McDonald mentions killing the cornbelt to fuel SUV's and the "very bad disconnect" along the line it makes me much happier to know that its not the cell phones. I think people are so stupid that they would continue to use them to till their own undoing.

Original article: Inside the Creation Museum

Build it

and the morons will come.. I wonder, is there an exhibit that speaks of the other religions in this marvelous and diverse world of ours? I'll bet that God says "Multiculturalism is dirty word". 6000 years is apparently not long enough to smite the security blanket of complete and utter bullshit. I'd say that I'm going to Hell but now I'm pretty certain that I'm already here.

..overhyped?

Let's just put it this way, if indeed the album is overhyped, it didn't have anything to do with the horrendous Robert Stigwood production or Frampton and the Bee-Gees... Ask anyone who heard it in the day for the first time, or kids who got into the Beatles 12 years after the album came out and got to discover the Beatles "out of sequence". I/They would tell you the Sgt. Pepper was the Beatles thematic bomb and changed studio musical art forever.

Bye Paris

Yes please, go away! She should pay the price for her lawlessness like any other citizen and maybe, just maybe a little extra for being Paris. I'll be certain to cry her a river every evening as I wipe away the moisture from my eye and fail to remember what the hell I was crying about.

Original article: Don't run, Al. Don't!

I cant believe I read the whole thing!

Oh Camille.. Is it time that has made you bitterly virtuous?

Shudders of déjà vu. Do Democrats really want to stampede down that soggy path again?

Al Gore may not display the Giuliani "junkyard dog of the debate" certainty or the pearly white, posing prowess of Mitt Romney however Al’s work to call for action on the issue of global warming is more admirable than anyone currently running for President in 2008. The only thing that is soggy is the minds of Americans; craving pop idols, microwavable sound bites and the less than interesting dirt on everyone who is anyone. Al Gore has earned my admiration, he is not a pop idol, he is not exciting, he's preachy about global warming. If anything makes the issue of global warming a political banality it is your attitude. I recommend a modified Ab-lounger and a broomstick, use your imagination Camille.

Original article: Why bathroom sex is hot

Did somebody say dichotomy?

Since my "partner" and I engaged in civil disobedience by getting married in San Francisco city hall (which was quickly annulled by the state) it’s been a big surprise to see conservative, legally married, family values, sanctity of marriage Republicans getting caught engaging in either prostitution or lavatory sex with the same gender. One would think that we had swapped roles in the night. The article is a good education piece for the unaware and I would not argue against anyone's opinion on the subject. Thanks James!
