Original article: I Like to Watch

Silverman

I love the show. I don't watch anything offered by the 3 major networks (sorry FOX, you're nothing but a Baby Ruth in the pool). Silverman's commercial for the show in which she laments "since the brutal murder of Amy Sedaris" is the end all truth in my book as far as women in comedy shows. You know what they say about opinions. The "rule" applies perfectly to your review!

Hack!

Hack, hack... Insert random excerpts from "My Pet Goat", The Bill-O show and Capricorn One as D'Snooza's theories and you can come up with all manner of spin on how Islamic extremists were "provoked" into slamming planes into American buildings. If you want my theory then this guy is a pathetic hack in serious need of some polemic guaifenesin for that hacking: the "blame" of 9/11 lies upon the perpetrators.

I'm a fascist for fashion

Heil Halston! I'm glad there are more stark words against these "Christians". They are a dangerous bunch by nature and the sheep are always more than eager to please! Thus, the Sinclair Lewis quote: "When fascism comes to America it will be wrapped in the flag and carrying the cross". It looks like the thinking folks are on the same page here. Religion is great, keep your faith to yourself and I'll do the same then we won't have any trouble getting along splendidly.

I agree with may here

Is it finally time to call this fool out and do what must be done to save not only out "Democracy" but to save outr Democracy's face in our negative influence upon an ever more turbulent world? The man and his minions should be called by and to justice, called to justice by the people they are supposed to be serving! Why doesn't everyone see this yet? Zombies awake, your world has been maligned by this idiot and half of you don't even know it! Turning this fool on his ear is your first and only true redeeming feature as a free nation in the 21st century!

Let the Impeachment begin!

This would be the best 100 "days" the Democrats have to offer! Either do it now or do it right after the Chimp’s "surge" announcement. If the Democrats really want to closely resemble heroes, then that's what will begin immediately after Bush's "new" and ridiculous plan. If the Democrats want a truly historical and poignant victory, this is the true path to the renewal of the American system and the American ideal. Deal with this first then deal with the other less formidable flaws in our system. George W. Bush is the biggest threat to peace and rationality on Earth. This is not something to be ignored!

Original article: Stopping the surge

The easy way

Simply give every citizen of Iraq 500k each, everybody is happy with money, right King George? Part of it could be underwritten by dissolving your buddies at Halliburton, Bechtel, Blackwater and their fellow war profiteer's corporate holdings. Maybe with a "signing statement" smuggled into a Social Security overhaul bill? I don't know if the Democrats can still balance the budget by 2012 but honestly, who cares!? Later, to stem any superfluous sectarian violence, just after George Bush is impeached (followed immediately by Dick Cheney's impeachment under nearly identical charges) we can send them both to Baghdad for their own war crimes trials and executions. Everyone’s happy!

Eeek!

Time to run far away, this guy thinks sex is sacred? That's a laugh! Nothing is sacred, nothing that I've seen anyway. The guy sounds like whole bag-full of perpetual problems. Time to flick that cigarette out the window.

Queen with a big mouth?

Probably so.. Much as I might have "died" at the thought of being outed when I was 15, now the idea has both its merits and its faults to me personally. "Hilton's" drivel is that of a snippy queen who would yell "Cheater, cheater, cheater" at a guy he had done the day before in a public restroom after discovering him at a party with his significant other. Much as that is deserved by the offender it is also offensively wrought by "Hilton" who is just as 'guilty'. Maybe he does serve a useful purpose, I think all queers should come clean. A high school acquaintance told me in my mid-twenties that everybody knew back in the day and that came as a bit of a surprise actually; I thought I was good at my cover. Now I'm 42, I haven't looked back since 25. I really don't think outing in this day and age is a bad thing, if you're famous or not and portraying a fundamental lie in your character, you should be called out on it. Is Ms. Hilton the "guy" to do that? I don't think so. He/it looks like a Tired Old Petty Queen (TOPQ) with a shitty and vindictive attitude to boot. Maybe that's what the world needs but I don't think so.

Thank you JasonNC!

I believe that you're correct and couldn't have said it better myself. I know I'm going off topic here but 8,000 clergy molestation cases has got to say something about the state of the "Christian" union. Very funny!

Dear God

Here we go again. I can only hope that we and the soldiers/contractors (well maybe not the CEO's and stockholders of the contractors) get home in at least 3/4 of a piece. At least the thinking, reasoning portion of the country has something to be vindicated about, not righteous about for Christ's sake, quite the contrary. For every legislator who voted for the war in Iraq, for every citizen who re-elected President George W. Bush in 2004 and for President George W. Bush himself and his heat packing little demons and talking heads, this is the last time the "snooze alarm" is going to go off (aka, may you all rot in Hell for what you have wrought). The shame is now all of ours of course but it really should be all of your's alone to savor. Animals (without the nature part)..
