Race for the presidency

After hearing about my father and his "spooks in the white house" email episode, I'm not surprised at anything.. I am always up for a good disappointment and Americans including my father seem to be more than eager to oblige. I still have hope that Obama will be president and that it will secretly unhinge my father to no end. Liberty and Justice for all!

And the irony?

The question used to be "Is he black enough?".

Sure!

Just think, when you get in hot water you can also claim that your actually not part of the executive branch too!

Katetex

Your handle is so remarkably similar to a product all women know and probably don't love at all. I've resisted the urge to call you “it” so many times, especially since I was flagged for a rather pointed response to your other Texas cohort (Texas Squirrel).. I don't want to be banned from Salon's letters because I was spurned and annoyed with some girls from Texas! I understand your disappointment of your candidate not clearly being the frontrunner but as she is fond of quoting “If you can't stand the heat, get out of the kitchen”! And WhoTF cares if you vote for McCain exactly? Buh-bye, C-ya later!

It says in the Bible..

"that faith in god can move mountains and I have been moved by the mountain state..."

Way to pander there hil..

Also depends on whose book you happen to subscribe to at the time...

@jeffersonian

I laughed so hard I nearly cried. I know the tone of your comment is somewhat harsh but thank you for the best laugh I've had all week!

@Picko

Well said, you have a very valid criticism with that one, not the typical automatic gain-saying others and myself are guilty of on these threads. Leadership skills indeed.

Hillary as VP / Insurance policy!

I had a funny thought; if Hillary was VP nobody would ever think of taking out Obama!

Wednesday, May 14, 2008 04:43 PM

I'm glad he apologized they way he did and set her up an interview

Thank god he apologized or we'd have to endure another month of how Obama's a sexist pig and talks down to women over what was a simple flap at the 100 millionth campaign stop..

Thursday, May 15, 2008 06:59 AM

Oh dear

Way to stir up more bullshit, especially the congresswomen.. I'm so sorry they're feeling angst. I think they should all get abortions before it's no longer legal to do so. That'll show those damn Obamatons! Don't screw with our reproductive rights, it's ours! Right?

Bush's last throws

I heard that bungling fool this morning on NPR mangling tenses again and sounding like a bumpkin moron. Your policy is coming to an end monkey king and your cabinet hoard of chimpanzee worshipers is finally about to be swept away.. Enjoy your legacy and good riddance fool's fool.

Thursday, May 15, 2008 11:27 AM

Does this mean?

That my rather rapidly annulled gay marriage from 2004 is valid again? I'm still with the same guy! Finally, the perceived liberal state of CA is going slightly liberal?

Thursday, May 15, 2008 11:43 AM

@Amity

Thank you Cpt. Buzzkill!

Thursday, May 15, 2008 02:45 PM

Not a Democratic party issue

Amity, all gay doom for the Democrats.. This is not a party issue and thus stated, even pussy Democrats can skirt any responsibility! This is an issue which was just rendered unconstitutional in the state of California. This will become a fundy x-ian fanfare but we've all lived through those before, trust us gays! I'm afraid that everyone gives this issue way too much relevance in this day and age.

Thursday, May 15, 2008 05:50 PM

Same broken record..

Concerned Women of America (actually a bunch of hate mongering fundies who can't admit that they have adulterous relationships in their own lives, can’t acknowlege a ~50% divorce rate, haven’t seen the end of priest/pastor child molestation and can't keep a lid on a nasty little problem wherein their husbands keep getting busted blowing other men in public bathrooms) can kiss my ass with and live with their inherent hypocrisy for a change! Just my $0.02 for the "concerned" ladies.

You can't stop progress

but they can always try!

Blue

I don't think CA is going to go Red for McCain. My bet is, that'll never happen.

pwned!

Ooh, that's got to hurt in the State of what one of my favorites posts of all time declared as (don't remember the poster's name) "Inbred Transylvania". West Virginia you could learn a lot from one of your own. Obama please throw some water on the wicked witch already!

@Dr. Zachary Smith

Thank you for the message board lesson on "concern trolling", I often wondered what the term really meant and even teh wiki left me somewhat perplexed. Obviously I have to brush up on my skills but I'll be trying harder now to spot and point out the concern trolls. Joan Walsh anybody?!

Monday, May 19, 2008 11:39 AM

I thought he already was the VP pick

He's always with him, I thought they were lovers before I found out McCain had a fembot campaign financier. I'm sure Joe can invigorate and bring out the Lieberyouth vote too!

Monday, May 19, 2008 02:13 PM

Good!

Somebody throw water on the Wicked Witch already.. sheesh!

Monday, May 19, 2008 02:46 PM

Of course Hillary maps would look better

The map looks better because it's been engineered to look better. Is this a last ditch effort to get the Wicked Witch the nomination, from the Republicans?!

Monday, May 19, 2008 04:20 PM

But

The media bullshit output will however set a new all time high between now and the election! Yippee....

Monday, May 19, 2008 07:34 PM

@melthough

Hey look, I liked Dorothy, Glenda, Toto, the tin man, the cowardly lion, the scarecrow.. Hell, I loved Margarett Hamilton the most but they did have to end the movie somehow. Sexism, bah! Realism is the real factor now and Hillary needs to get onboard and get real, that's all. Hell, I'll send her 50 bucks right now if she'll bow out gracefully! Obama the real Democrat'08! I don't care if that sounds devisive, she called him an elitist. Imagine that, a man of African American descent in America. An elitist? She lost any hope from me there, fair and square. I mean, where are we? On the moon? "Let the joyous news be spread, the Wicked Old Witch at last is dead!" Obama would chuckle by the way, and then tell me about unity again.. Hillary just cackles and tells us how she's going beat McCain in November.. Yeah... right...
