Farhad,
You say that the reason you like Senator McCain is that he "appears honest," as opposed to most politicians. I would argue that you are falling for appearances. (And I love a previous letter-writers comment that you like McCain's 'honestiness'.) Senator McCain is a politician just like all the other politicians. If you need evidence of this, then look at his voting record for more than the past few years. Up until 1999, he was consistently one of the most conservative Republicans. Right before he started running for president (where he would position himself as a moderate and a maverick), his voting record changed so that he no longer voted with his party every time. It wasn't until he decided his campaign theme that he changed how he voted. Then, he embraced the very person he campaigned so hard against and campaigned for him. None of this is an abominable sin in a politician, but it is the mark of a politician. You are falling for McCain's spin, and it is sad. His Straight Talk Express is no different from O'Reilly's No-Spin Zone in terms of its accuracy.
Buffalo’s airport is surprisingly nice in a functional way: cheap parking with prompt (and free) shuttle to the terminal; short lines at the counter and security; compact terminal so you don’t have to walk two miles to get to your gate; plentiful seating; relatively quiet. Sometimes the pilots will even circle Niagara Falls a couple of times after takeoff, to the annoyance of most of the business passengers but to the delight of anyone willing to open their eyes. Patrick would hate it because it has no history and limited livery, but its pleasant for real passengers.
The Vikings are also tied for the last wild ward spot at 6-6 and strike me as the team most likely to win that spot given their ground game and defense.
