I'm sure there are others.
Ms. Paglia should spend some time in Chicago, where Obama was only one of many, including Da Mayor, who sat on boards with Bill Ayers. Ayers is well-integrated into the Chicago educational reform community. The information is out there; rather than repeating the sly insinuations and rehashing evil deeds of Ayers/Dohrn in the 60s & 70s. Let me also add the Sidley & Austin, the Chicago law firm Ms. Paglia refers to, employs well over 1,000 attorneys. I myself am only one degree separated from both Dohrn and Ayers. Guess that makes me suspect?
I hate to miss any of your excellent points. See bullet three - the boldface takes over, and I think part of the sentence is missing.
I only add, "Shame, shame, NY Times." Get Savage on this one!
Although this phrase was popularized most recently by Chicago Mayor Harold Washington, it's interesting to revisit the whole quote:
Politics ain't beanbag: 'tis a man's game, and women, children 'n' pro-hy-bitionists had best stay out of it. --Chicago writer Finley Peter Dunne, writing as "Mr. Dooley."
