Great news that the Kilborn episodes are going to be put up eventually. Don't get me wrong, I think Stewart is far superior to Kilborn, but A. Whitney Brown was one of the best prototypes for eventual style all the correspondents would employ

I wrote a lot of stuff here. I deleted it. What's the point?

I don't think having sex with 24 people or 4 people makes you any more or less reflective or insightful about life. An earlier poster said this seems like a brag, I have to agree. It may have made her feel more liberated and helped her own life, but it doesn't show any clear lesson, its more a recitation of casual encounters. Good for her? I think she misses the larger issue with casual sex, at least as I see it, and that's the spread of STDs. Sure, she mentions it in a very throwaway paragraph ever so briefly before trudging on with her lack-of-a-point, I just don't see why such a potentially massive issue can be so overlooked.

I know my experience in high school and college showed me men and women are largely lackadaisical about being totally on top of anything, much less disease prevention, and eventually the law of averages would bear this out and become a public health issue. Maybe not a widespread crisis, but if one's casual attitudes end up negatively affecting an unsuspecting partner, how much of the blame goes to the ultra "liberated" party for affecting another's life in such a manner?
