I GUESS THIS MEANS

That the little AWOL/Deserter-in-Chief and 5-Deferrment Darth will BOTH have to be tried by Military Tribunals. According to the Panty Wetters Party faithful, their illegal renditions, tortures, and mass murders, along with their massive frauds and thefts of government funds were ALL basically acts of war against the United States and the Constitution.

I sure hope they televise the executions in HD...........

SOA vs BREAKING BAD

The wild adventures and instant karma portrayed in AMC's Breaking Bad, are much more entertaining than FX's SOA.

A terminally ill high school chemistry teacher with good intentions, who only wants to leave his family financially secure after he's gone, makes the desperate and ill advised decision to manufacture and sell high quality methamphetimine with a ner-do-well former student as partner.

That decision creates mayhem, death, and destruction beyond anything he could ever have imagined, which makes for very entertaining television.

I can relate to this ordinary shmo placed in a no-way-out situation much more than any of the fringe characters on SOA. I have nothing against fringe characters, mind you, but unless they're doing something besides hanging out at the clubhouse planning their next move, which is seemingly always postponed because of unforseen circumstances, I tend to get bored and skip the next episode or three as a form of rebellious protest.

(Yea, that's how I roll)...

SALON ON SALON

When will Joan address the massive cluster that is the "New Format", considering the obviously overwhelming number of dissatisfied customers??? She could at least put out an apology and some sort of explaination...something...

If Salon were a ship, she'd have been keel-hauled long ago......hell, even Glenn only added a brief note about the latest glitch being repaired shortly, without further comment....(probably a non-mutiny clause in his contract, but just sayin')........

LITTLE JOEY LIEberman

Fake U.S. Senator, Covert Agent of Israeli Intelligence, representative of numerous Corporate Criminals, voice of beloved cartoon icon Droopy Dog, and all around Galactic Asshole in dire need of a good old fashioned Ass Kicking........what's not to like???

HOLY CRAP

I was under the false impression the corporate criminals had solved that whole "well compensated employees are needed in order to buy our crap, bla, bla, bla", problem.....isn't that why they invented government bail-outs; to bypass all that time consuming and otherwise troublesome "enterprise", and just have the serfs line up and fork over all their money directly???

Mr. Snake doesn't need to consume himself. He can relax while the government delivers mass quantities of food right to his nest.....

DIABOLICAL, I TELLS YA' !!!

The argument against supporting ANY progressive policies: Too damn popular.

Why, the next thing ya know, the citizens will expect us to do stuff that benefits them ALL the time!!!!!!!!

THE ONLY PROBLEM

With all this is that the underground tunnel from Darth's new mansion in Langley to his bunker at CIA Headquarters a short distance away, could be delayed due to diversion of funds to new construction in Afghanistan. How on earth anyone could expect him to stay on top of all the planning and logistics involved from his waterfront mansion in Dubai, is beyond me.

I say affordable Health Care for the serfs should not get in the way of the Military Industrial Complex's plans to continue subverting the Constitution and Rule of Law.

If the pesky citizenry in the US can't get into the spirit of things and learn to eat dirt and live under crumbling bridges without complaining, I say they don't deserve the many blessings of Democracy and Capitalism. (Which we all know is preferred by serfs everywhere in the world 2 to 1).....

ATTA BOY, GODMAN

Where would those hapless SALON IT guys be without your constant help fixing their fuck ups.......thanks to you, it only takes 3 steps now to see the comic in it's legible size.......(as opposed to that less advantageous "direct to view with one click", before the format change...........hey, wait a second...........GODMAN!!!

TOM TOMORROW

Here's an idea for your next book: "The Very Silly New Format"

You could run it by Joan and the IT guys at Salon and see what they think, but I imagine they'll love it, (except for the size, they'll suggest you reduce it to subatomic particle dimensions so it can better be enjoyed by one cell organisms.)

TFF, TOM TOMORROW !!!

The sales of T-Shirts, hats,(berets), and posters sporting the depicted ACORN Logo will no doubt enable you to live comfortably into the next century.

The really hilarious part of all this is that there is now legislation being introduced to defund ALL those entities found defrauding the taxpayers.

How WILL the Wingnut Party Faithful ever thank these exposers of fraud for opening this giant can of Criminal Corporate Worms??

How WILL Beck, Faux, and the Clown Party front guys in congress get the cork back in the monkey's ass now???

(Does ANYONE at Clown Party Headquarters use anymore foresight than was used before deciding to invade Iraq on these things??)

Their Nitwittery has been elevated to an artform...

Dems Counterpunch GOP with "ACORN" Act

(Against Corporations that Rip Off our Nation Act)

Top-ranking liberal lawmaker Rep. Betty McCollum (D-Minn.) pressed her colleagues to support a legislative counterpunch to the GOP’s effort to defund the controversial grass-roots organizing group ACORN.

McCollum, a senior Democratic Whip in her caucus, challenged the 172 Democrats who supported a measure to cut off federal funds for the Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now (ACORN) to endorse a similar measure geared towards private companies in business with the government.

The appropriations committee member introduced the “ACORN Act,” or “Against Corporations Organizing to Rip-off the Nation Act,” last week; it is the first formal defense against the recent GOP success in Congress to defund the left-leaning activist organization.

Democratic Reps. Raul Grijalva (Ariz.), David Obey (Wis.), Pete Stark (Calif.), Keith Ellison (Minn.), Lynn Woolsey (Calif.), Jim McDermott (Wash.) and Barbara Lee (Calif.) have co-sponsored the bill that would cut off federal agreements with private companies, nonprofits and other groups that have been convicted of defrauding the government.

Oh, the humanity.....
