I LOVE it!!
[Read the article: Argus Leader editor responds to RFK controversy]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]Clinton makes one monumental verbal gaffe (let's be honest here, that was a TITANIC slip of the tongue. I know she didn't mean that she hopes Obama gets shot, but it's incredibly, incredibly tone-deaf) and her supporters here turn it around to play victim over this gaffe?
AWEsome!!!
You kids RULE!

Faulty Logic Alert!!

Sweet!

[Read more letters about this article: Here]The left-wing extremists really are turning into the extreme right-wing GOPers. Purging their parties of anyone not a "true-believer".
Thanks Skyler! I was wondering when we'd get a Stalin comparison for Obama, thanks for stepping up to the plate!
So if I can recall correctly Obama has been referred to, at various times, Hitler, Jim Jones, Elmer Gantry (although I think I want to take credit for that one...it sounds so much better than "empty suit" don't it?), Idi Amin, Neville Chamberlain, Lenin, Trotsky, and now Stalin.
Wow...I thought he was just some guy from Hawai'i running for President. Silly me.
cheers!
p.s. can anyone else recall any other less than savory comparisons? I find it hilarious.

double sweet!

[Read more letters about this article: Here]Over on Walsh's latest post someone (nazaco or something) just referred to Obama as a Peron or a Kim Jong Il!

[Read more letters about this article: Here]Can you please please please do ALL of us a favour and ban this yahoo ShawnWM already?? It's painfully obvious that he's nothing but a neo-con troll who is only stirring the pot? His continued use of right wing talking points is a dead giveaway, and I'm almost positive that he is also the same "Anonymous" that caused so much trouble a few months back (his manner of writing is VERY similar).
Simply put, allowing him to continue to post as an ostensible Clinton supporter achieves nothing but to continue the rancor that's been brewing here these last few months.
thanks

[Read more letters about this article: Here]My word, Zachary Smith offers you and all Clinton supporters what appears to be a sincere olive branch and what do you do?
you break it and throw it back in his face.
yep...real mature.
p.s. if you're gonna throw your vote away at least make it count for something - vote Green or Nader.
Best of luck with all your future endeavors...I genuinely wish you all the best.

[Read more letters about this article: Here]you see whatever you want to see.
Fine. Don't vote for Obama or the Democrats. It's your choice...you've invested yourself so heavily in Clinton that you can't see the forest for the trees. If a few people on an online community of what must be 1000 people tops is enough to sway you then so be it.
Vote your conscience, but may I humbly beseech you to throw your support towards a third party and not McCain or the dreaded "stay home"? If you're not going to be on the Democratic side then please please please make your vote count for something - help make Third Party Politics viable in America.
peace.
p.s. I gather since you've decided to stay away from Obama (now that Clinton is all but toast)that you'll refrain from posting about how much you hate him now right? Awesome.

[Read more letters about this article: Here]Hey Buddy,
You appear to be fairly new here, so I'll give you a heads up - Electro Robot is a neo-con troll, so is ShawnWM, lolcait, and the various texas kates. Jeffersonian, and YesWeCan08 (or something like that) are as well (but pretending to be Obama supporters while the others mentioned pretend to support Clinton)
(they generally offer up little clues - the "clinton" trolls always bring up "Empty suit/Messiah/Affirmative Action/Gonna Get Destroyed in the fall/I'm voting McCain" or something along those lines. The "Obama Trolls" will bring up Vince Foster and all the various and tired Right Wing Talking Points about the Clintons)
hope this makes things clearer in our little corner of the internets!
cheers!
hopefully that will clear things up a little bit.

[Read more letters about this article: Here]You're missing my point (I'm probably not as clear as I should be...it's late).
Of course you don't have to "leave", of course this isn't an "Obama Fan Boy Site", you can do whatever you want...but might I suggest that spending the next six months telling us that you're not voting for Obama is probably not best way to spend your time (of course I understand that spending my time yammering on about a guy I can't even vote for is even more of a waste of time...but then I seem to have alot of time these days ;)
If you plan on supporting your downticket Dems that's awesome...
all the best!

[Read more letters about this article: Here]too true Magritte, I concur wholeheartedly! Wouldn't it be nice to have our brothers and sisters south of the 49th deliver the death knell to our very own tinpot despot? I loathe Harper with all my might...a rejection of neo-conservatism down south will almost assuredly lead to its rejection up here (the fact that I love Dion's writings on federalism is just icing...and I say this as a guy that generally has a tough time choosing between NDP and Marxist-Leninist ;)
a bientot!
p.s. I see a strong resemblance between Obama and P.E.T. Young, mediagenic, well traveled lawyers with keen senses of zeitgeist...if he can enact even 1/10th of the change that Trudeau did then the global community is heading towards something very special indeed.
*I know, I know...that was one poor Magritte reference. My bad, it's late.
