[Read the article: Clinton writes to Obama]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]Michigan has a population of almost 10,000,000. Only 600,000 participated in the Primary.
But sure, you go ahead and tell me that the good Michiganders didn't think this thing was pointless.

aww nuts
[Read the article: Condoms: Sort of like crack?]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]Nothing wrong with this post Price, I quite liked it - it's always good to keep up on the ramblings of the psychos.
but whywhywhy did you have to go and ruin the fun I was having by seeing the word "Slutbucks" on the Salon homepage?
Slutbucks.
Slutbucks.
....yep, that's my new favourite word.
cheers!

[Read more letters about this article: Here]I was never that kid (i was too busy trying not to get the snot beat out of me by my sister ;). but Mom always told me two wrongs never make a right. You might do well to remember the simple wisdom of mom.
But if you want to continue making blowjob jokes then by all means go ahead, whatevs.

[Read the article: McCain campaign baits Obama on Clinton slurs]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]to add to the list of words or phrases I never want to hear ever again after this primary:
"surrogate"
along with "vetted", "parsed" and "thrown under the bus"
I'm thinking that Kennedy was musing not as "Senator who has endorsed Obama" but rather as "Senator Kennedy, the 'liberal lion' of the Senate"...ya know, just speaking his mind.
but as long as we're talking 'bout respect here, shouldn't we show at least a smidge of respect for Kennedy, the staunch liberal who has been in the Senate since 1962? How about we let the "elder statesman" muse away?
cheers

nice!
[Read the article: Bob Barr to run for president]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]Run Bob Run!!!
what are the rules on foreign citizens donating to US Presidential campaigns? I'd toss crazy ol' Bob a double dixie just to keep things interesting.
(and incidentally I strongly believe in the concept of third parties...even if they're totally offbase from my beliefs.)

[Read the article: McCain campaign baits Obama on Clinton slurs]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]I totally agree with you there on your last point. It is a nice dodge of valid criticism. It reminds me of certain segments of the Jewish community who equate any criticism of Israeli foreign policy with Anti-Semitism and thus stiffles any criticism of Israel.
It's a neat trick if you can pull it off, but disingenious as hell.
(I'm sure I'll find the usual GOP tricksters posting after me saying Obama did the same thing with Race...they'd be hopelessly and utterly wrong, but they'll state it nonetheless ;)
cheers
p.s. great name you got there...I sure hope it's a "I'm a hustler ma'am" reference and not an "annoying-as-hell FOX baseball" reference ;)

[Read the article: McCain campaign baits Obama on Clinton slurs]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]Judging from prior events (i.e. bringing up homosexuality in a Church for no discernable(sp?) reason), I have complete faith that Obama will do precisely what you ask.
In fact I'd be very very surprised if he didn't offer her the VP slot, even though she'd probably turn it down, or basically any position she wanted (AG? Supreme Court? Senate Majority Leader?), and he'll probably also concede to her healthcare plan (even though I think the idea of "mandate" is a dem-killer in the General).
In short, Obama has generally acted with class in the past*, I fully expect him to treat her like royalty when she drops out.
*the only exception I can think of to this is during the SC debate where he said "sometimes I can't tell who I'm running against"...which was hilarious IMHO, but a little snarky
cheers!

AHAHAHAHA!!

[Read more letters about this article: Here]"So as since you've put up (again) a candidate to the left of Lenin"
Oh Shawn...you SLAY me!
No seriously...that made my night!

Oh Rose
[Read the article: Can Barack Obama win West Virginia?]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]Your argument is absurd...but while we're playing silly games here - why not check this out?
http://progressillinois.com/2008/05/11/features/obama-over-the-top
One point just pops out at ya don't it?
"Poblano’s simulation engine has produced some fascinating results. According to his current data, the model predicts that Clinton would win four states against McCain that Obama is favored to lose (FL, AR, WV, OH). Meanwhile, Obama wins eight states where Clinton would likely fail (MI, WI, IA, CO, NM, NV, WA, OR)."
but again...all this prognosticatin' is academic at this point. Unless of course you're The Amazing Kreskin. You aren't really The Amazing Kreskin are you??

NO!
[Read the article: Maryland delegate jumps to Obama]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]This is BAD BAD BAD!!! Obama's campaign should come out right away and forcefully state that this is NOT A GOOD THING...and URGE him to vote for Clinton like he's supposed to!!
What's this moron thinking?!?!
-
Uh-Oh...here comes the Weathermen! (slightly OT)
[Read the article: Can Barack Obama win West Virginia?]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]Know what I find kinda hilarious? How all these right wing toadies (like gnuebeck, lolcait, PTM etc ad nauseum) like the toss around Obama's tenuous connection to the "terrorist" Bill Ayers.
"OOOH!! Obama's really IS a terrorist! He knows Ayers! He hates Amurica! Off with his head! TERRORISTS!!!!"
I always thought the Weathermen were the Keystone Kops of the 60s Radical Left. The only people they ever killed were three of their own for heaven's sake!
Although I guess that blowing up empty buildings, and making sure those buildings were empty, is akin to ETA in this political climate.
I mean really, The Weathermen?!?! If anything people should shake their heads and chuckle at the naiveté of the 60s Radical Left that the continued existence of a Bill Ayers reminds us all.
cheers

[Read more letters about this article: Here]I would be remiss if I didn't also mention that they DID succeed in breaking Tim Leary out of jail...so at least they had that going for them ;)

Hey Lilybean
[Read the article: Maryland delegate jumps to Obama]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]Read the first message posted by me. I think this is AWFUL - and he should be URGED...FORCED if need be to vote as he was elected to.
This is one shitstorm that need not be started!

[Read the article: Can Barack Obama win West Virginia?]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]Hey, thanks for sharing your feelings. We get that you won't vote for him, you never will. We get it already.
Now howzabout doing something more constructive with your time than repeatedly telling strangers who you won't vote for?
Jus' a suggestion.
;)
