[Read the article: Was Obama's skin darkened for Clinton ad?]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]Heh, I would make some reference to all of us here in the War Room having a little War Fatigue, but I fear that might be taken as I hate the troops and want the terrorists to win!
(and yes WES, that was actually pretty funny :)
cheers

[Read the article: Obama advisor calls Clinton a "monster," apologizes]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]man, that's a bone-headed thing to say...she should probably be suspended for a few weeks, that was really a terrible thing to say. Jeebus.
p.s. shame on the paper for publishing it - I wasn't aware that "off the record" follows the same rules as Mother May I...well I guess The New Scotsman will enjoy their 15 minutes of notoriety now...and so it goes.

smart move
[Read the article: Obama advisor Power resigns]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]She resigns...cuts the legs off this story, she'll still advise Obama whenever he needs - and if he wins the nomination and the General Election, I'm fairly certain she'll quietly be re-hired.
that's some quick damage control there Obama - good work!

[Read the article: Obama advisor Power resigns]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]Nice to see you guys falling back on talking point #2!
If Talking Point #1 - That the media and obama are mean and unfair to Hillary - you always have #2 to fall back on - Obama and his supporters are "latte liberals" who hate the working class.
What happened to "empty suit"? C'mon guys! You're letting all of us down!
p.s. I have never had a latte in my life - but then again, I'm more socialist than liberal...so take what I say with a grain of salt (ha! like clinton's NAFTA rhetoric! I didn't even make that pun intentionally...nice!)

[Read the article: Obama advisor Power resigns]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]"I don't get the constant references to Kool-Aid though. I've never seen Obama crash through a wall while shouting, "Oh YEAAAHHH we can!"
Dude, that literally made me spit-take all over my desk!
EXCELLENT!!!
(here's to more humour here for the next 6 weeks!)

@SueNJ97
[Read the article: Obama advisor Power resigns]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]Thanks for reminding me of the Mike Danton (Richardson) saga...gotta say, he certainly made my hometown proud!
Any day a native son tries to hire a hitman to kill his Svengali-like agent, and then has a phone conversation where the agent both tells him to turn himself in to the authorities AND demands that he says "I love you" is a Great Day for the Mighty Bramalea!
(and yes, you are the only Devils fan...lord knows they sunk my fantasy team - stupid Elias :)

[Read the article: More on Clinton camp infighting]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]She hasn't won Texas yet.
That darn media sure is beating up on her - what with the misrepresentin' the facts about Texas and all...poor thing, the evil media has given her a win where she didn't get one yet...how do they sleep at night?

@Garvey
[Read the article: Who would the GOP rather face?]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]You wrote:
"To not-count Florida or Michigan delegates is patently discriminatory and denies voting rights constitutionally protected under the voting Rights act of 1965"
Hogwash. Utter hogwash. Don't be so quick to throw around words like "disenfranchisement"...that's a VERY serious allegation, one that cuts to the heart of democracy. Sorry bub, but not being allowed to help nominate a candidate kinda sucks, but it is NOT disenfranchisement. I know Clinton has no problem tossing that word around...but it doesn't change the fact that she's wrong...not seating Florida and Michigan is a bummer, but not disenfranchisement. Period.
cheers

[Read the article: Who would the GOP rather face?]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]Let me take this nice and slow for you...Iraq had nothing to do with 9/11. Nothing. Not a speck. Hussein and Al-Qaeda (sp?) were not friends, in fact they were openly hostile to one another. He did not fund the attack, help plan the attack, heck I seriously doubt he even knew about the attack until he watched the news that morning.
This is not news, it also wasn't news in 2002. The whole world knew that...didn't stop Bush from lying about it continuously until people started to believe it.
Why do I mention this? Because your assertion that Hillary HAD to authorize the war because she's the Senator from New York holds no water at all. Why? Because Iraq had NOTHING TO DO WITH 9/11!!.
we clear on that? Good.
and one more thing - what on earth are you talking about re: Canadian Healthcare? You think Canadians can't choose their own doctors? Poppycock my friend, poppycock.

OOH! OOH!
[Read the article: Who would the GOP rather face?]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]I can answer this one!!
" They will be convinced in Denver on the basis of WHO can take the big, electoral vote rich states. Now, I wonder who that is, exactly?"
that would be EITHER of them!
(remember these big states are referred to as "Democratic" States, not "Clinton" States.)

@sajwan
[Read the article: Obama says Clinton ad "straight out of the Republican playbook"]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]One little nit-pick:
remind me again who Clinton ran against for Senator?? You can't use the argument that Obama ran against fools if Clinton did as well...there's plenty more ammo to use if you want - that one rings really hollow.
p.s. whoever linked that article - interesting piece, don't know if I buy it, but interesting nonetheless. Perhaps minorities are more attuned to subtle messages of racism (much like women are more attuned to subtle sexism)

@Rosenkavalier
[Read the article: Obama camp targets Clinton experience claims]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]I'm not so sure war with Iraq is what New Yorkers wanted, maybe you can show me some polling data that shows 90% of New Yorkers wanted to go to war...
what I DO know is that upwards of 400,000 people marched in New York City to protest the upcoming war...that's not an insignificant number.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/February_15,_2003_anti-war_protest#New_York
(but thank you for not trotting out the whole "New York was attacked on 9/11 - she HAD to authorize the war in Iraq" argument. That one really chaps my ass)

[Read the article: Obama camp targets Clinton experience claims]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]The Bill "Authorizes the President to use force against those who planned, carried out, supported, or aided terrorist attacks of Sept. 11, 2001."
Yes yes, that's a valid Bill for her to support...but Iraq does not (and did not) fit those criteria. Please refrain from spouting Republican propaganda.
Iraq had nothing to do with 9/11. Period.
cheers
