When Tina Fey was doing Weekend Update, me and my best friend would wait until it was over before heading out for the evening.

    why?

Cause dude, she's HAWT! (yep, that's even more than "hot") and hilarious!

Even my girlfriend, who quite frankly can't understand for the life of her all my random celebrity crushes, has to concede that yes, Tina Fey is hot, and smart, and cool.

First let me congratulate your candidate on a big win in Ohio and RI...this thing ain't done yet! (how i wish it were though :)

but I simply cannot abide by your regurgitation of the whole NAFTA thing. Check this article out from the Toronto Star:

    http://www.thestar.com/News/Canada/article/309381

In short, the chief of staff for the Prime Minister (a wannabe George Bush) leaked a memo to the Right Friendly CTV, a leak that was mis-representative of the exchange (Obama's aide never said Obama's position was "rhetoric") in an effort to curtail the Obama campaign...why? dunno...this IS a Prime Minister who as we speak is fighting allegations that he tried to bribe an independent candidate (who was dying of cancer!) to vote with the Conservatives in order to bring down the government when they were in opposition (they have audio of him talking about the bribe). His response? He's suing every Liberal under the sun.

ALL Americans should be hopping mad that a foreign leader has insinuated himself into your politics. You should be hopping mad, and more than a little embarrassed for not even bothering to follow up on the nature of the leak...maybe if you gave it at least as much attention as the minutiae of Rezko, you'd have realized this fact.

but that's besides the point tonight...Congrats on a big win in Ohio - I got my fingers crossed for Texas!!

    Effing Wolf effing Blitzer!

My god, he is losing his mind saying "HUGE comeback for Clinton!" then will say a few minutes later in much more muted tones "but of course Obama will probably get more delegates" Also, am I losing my mind or weren't most polls showing a statistical dead heat in Texas up until this morning? Dunno how that's a HUGE comeback...but I guess the media really is only interested in the horserace...maybe we can stop with the "pro obama" or "pro clinton" bias in the news media meme?

Also, CNN is being more than a little disingenious here by trumpeting Clinton's Texas Primary win...shouldn't you wait until the Caucus portion is over before you crown anyone winner?

So what happens if in the morning Obama wins the Caucus, ends up with more delegates, and popular vote (by combining both)...will it still be a HUGE win for Clinton? I'm not so sure.

I still congratulate Clinton on thumping Obama in Ohio (by 12 points as I write). That actually was huge for Clinton...Texas? Not so much.

Is how the media has joined lock step in saying Clinton won three states last night...that she wone RI, OH, and Texas. Full Stop.

Umm...she didn't win "texas", she won the "texas primary". They're still counting the votes in the Caucus dontcha know? I don't buy any arguments about it being said for the sake of brevity, it's not that hard to say "Hillary wins big in Ohio and Rhode Island, and leads in Texas which is still counting"

I for one simply refuse to acknowledge anyone who from this point forward talks about media bias against Hillary. It's bunk. The Media are only concerned in prolonging this ratings bonanza...that much is clear.

  • let's take a deep breath here guys

[Read the article: No Texas-size victory for Obama]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

I just went on cnn.com, added up the numbers, and regardless of all the talk about the HUGE COMEBACK for Clinton, she gained an estimated 18 delegates (not including the caucus which is still in Obama's favour at the moment) and net gain of 328,135 votes.

Of course that's not the story in the media, nope...that won't feed the horserace. It's a HUGE COMEBACK FOR THE COMEBACK KID (redux)!!!

Let's all just relax...there was no coronation last night, but we sit pretty much exactly where we did yesterday morning.

First let me say congratulations on participating in the primaries...sounds like you had fun and were inspired, which of course is never a bad thing :)

    one thing though, you said:

"remember that HRC won California, New York, New Jersey, Ohio, Texas, and some believe Florida, so you have a political powerhouse. We should not discount the woman that carried the heavyweight electoral states-- that would be a major folley."

You're right, those are heavyweight electoral states. They're also (with the exception of Texas and to a lesser extent Ohio and Florida) firmly entrenched Blue States. It would be huge news if the Establishment Candidate didn't win those states. And Clinton (let me repeat that name: Clinton) IS the establishment candidate. As numerous people have noted - there are ALOT of Democratic Officials in those states that owe quite a bit to the Clintons. So not to denigrate your candidates showing so far...but those are the states she simply must win in order to be a viable candidate, any candidate with the backing of the Party Apparatus who didn't win them would be dead in the water.

    cheers!
