That's a shoe that hasn't dropped. The so-called "milblogs" that were getting lots of attention a couple years ago were (and remain) right-wing Pentagon propaganda outlets with special access to various field commanders. They include outlets like "Blackfive" and people like "Michael Yon." It will be interesting to see what happens to this propaganda machine after Obama takes over.
This is not the first time this girl has accused a black man of threatening conduct. Such accusations appear to be young Ashley's stock in trade.
But the latest one is more serious. McCain has been trying to jump-start his campaign by appealing to redneck white voters in Western Pennsylvania. What better than to gin up a robbery and "maiming" committed by a large black man? McCain and Palin both called the young girl with their sympathies. Isn't that interesting?
Racism has never been too far underneath the surface with the McCain campaign. Now it is right out there in the open. I hope this will get the widespread attention it deserves.
