Brady Daddy

Now Brady can spend lots of time with that baby his ex girlfriend had. Sarah Palin told me it was all God's plan for Brady's ACL to blow out.

Keep an eye on that doppleganger

"In other words, the only test of campaign tactics is whether they work. So now we know that there are not really two McCains, one good and one bad. There is only one McCain, and he has two faces."

So true. I remember in the rawness after 911 talking with my older brother in Colorado about what the US was going to do now. In spite of our shared disgust with the Bush regime I for some reason must have been feeling the results of that necessary catastrophic event and said into the phone Maybe it's good that we have a cowboy in office now instead of a Harvard guy. There was an awkward pause as I wondered how I could possibly shove those words back in my mouth, or, better yet, spit them into the toilet. No, bro, said my political advisor, don't think that even for a second. Fuck him.

Yeah, I guess I got caught up in the whole payback thing.. Well don't forget who that prick is even for a second, he advised.

And maybe that's why I pretty much avoided any and all coverage of 911 events this year. I didn't even want to entertain for a second that we're dealing with a decent man here who loves his country and blah, blah, blah. Veterans groups hate the guy, POW families have found him to be an enemy where he should have been an ally. No way in hell was I interested in seeing him arm and arm with Obama or tossing roses into the water or any of that other photo-op baloney. This is war and when it's over and my guy wins I will consider McCain's humanity in some absract and micrscopic sense but for now he's the guy trying to extend the ruination of the greatest country on earth and I want my guy to kick his ass.

Who Dat Say It Weren't Da Bills ?

It were da Bills that did it not Al Davis or Skippy Kiffin. Was JP Losman crusiing the sidelines trying to buy some weed off any Raiders ? He didn't have anything to do and he looked a little bored. Bills are no joke and looking to get one for the thumb, one more SB loss I mean.

Kristol's List Doesn't Include Enlistees

Ironically, I posted a piece on my blog last night referencing Bill Kristol's call to W. for pardons of CIA thugs who waterboarded and worse as well as those who ran illegal wiretaps. My point was that Graner et al as usual in this administration are getting zero slack for their parts in the clusterhump that was A.G. prison., It's so typical of this bunch to zero in on some dude who took his orders a little too seriously and made a game of abusing prisoners. But come off it, are we dumb enough to think that Red Graner thought up this stuff or gave the orders to perpetarte any of it ? Please. Rumsfeld's memoirs should have been written from a federal pen and that's where Cheney can write his too along with Gonzo and W. while we're at it.

Friedman + Neocons = Torture

You really can't have the Milton Friedman miracle without torture in any country even though the Chi-Schoolers would never in a million years admit as much or even admit it goes on hand in glove with their capitalist fantasyland dream.

Does Scooter Have the Goods on Dicky ?

Mr. Potter errrr I mean Dr. Strangelove, no no no, I mean former VP Dick Cheney couldn't wait to start slamming his former underling. I am in total agreement with the camp who says Bush couldn't guarantee his own safety in the post-Bush era -- now that there will be a justice oriented justice department again -- so he sure as hell wasn't about to go dealing get outta jail free cards to flunkies, fall guys, stooges and co-conspirators. The nasty frat boy is not going to take the fall by himself and it seems if he's going down so is Cheney. And what might Scooter have to sing about that Cheney wants him pardoned so badly ? I have always wondered if Scooter has the shovel to bury Cheney and as long as Cheney could immunize him he'd be safe as well. Rats and a sunk ship -- Ahhh yess, now that's change we can believe in.
