Fox News

I'm not a North American, I'm a Brazilian. This election was electrifying for people all over the world. On election day I was " watching closely " CNN, Spanish CNN, BBC, TV5 and Fox. This channel - Fox - is very offensive and agressive to everybody. They are disrespecful of the people being interviewed, they have no respect for the audience, their " anchors " are like robots, they are deeply distasful. They interrupt, they bully , they shout, there's too much face lifting etc. It was fun to see their discomfiture anouncing Pres. Obama's inspiring election. BBC reporting was by far the best coverage, more comprehensive and not displaying the sort of pyrotechnics that CNN was airing. Today I read on the CNN website that Ms. Amanpour stated that " challenges remain ". Really? who would have thought so..... TV news people should be aware that they say a lot of silly and redundant things and not underestimate their audience.By the way, yesterday I wished I were North American! Congratulations to you all and welcome to the world's community again.

Original article: Say it ain't so, John!

sorry?

I totally agree with The Beagle of Doom " Crush her. Crush her with brutal efficiency and keep crushing her. Hit her so hard she doesn't get up again and as a warning to the others. Break her. Beat her into the ground. Otherwise that virus will pop up again to run for Ted Stevens Senate seat. And it will win."

Although I'm not a North American, every election in your country reverberates throughout the world and we, foreigners, have an enormous interest in North American elections. This one is particularly exciting and it can make a real difference , for better or for worse. Regarding Mrs. Palin, she scares me to death. She distils hate, intolerance and dissension, I can only imagine what would happen to the rest of the world should Palin become the president. Total nightmare. No , I don't feel sorry for her, not for a single nanosecond. There are many things around that merit our sympathy. I feel sorry for the persons in your country who can't vote because they can't read.Or for people all over the world who suffer hunger, abandonement, misery , the list is a large one.

elections, early or not

You should send some observers to Brazil and learn a bit about our voting process! W will be voting for mayor this next Sunday ( elections are always held on Sunday ), polls close at 5:00AM. By 9 AM we already know who got it. It's a clever electronic system devised to speed up the process and very hard to fraud.Registrtion is made by a special Federal instance and certainly not by parties. Those are observers of the whole process in election day.I wish you all a great election and hope that Obama will win the presidency of such an important country in the world, crunch credit or not.He understands!
