I hate to break it to ya, Mark... but you just purchased one of the crappiest vehicles out there, SUV or no. Mitsubishis of all stripes are traditionally near the bottom of most lists ranking overall quality and customer ownership experiences.
Back when I was selling cars -- 10 years ago, thank God, when people could still afford them -- the joke was that "Mitusbishi" was Japanese for "I couldn't get bought (financed) on the Honda." If anything, the line's quality has gotten worse since then. Good luck, I mean it.
