Oh, Why Bother....

The next time I hear some bib-dribbler from the right-wing piping up about this being a "Christian nation," I'll point to the ugly treatment of Ms. Sotomayor and challeng them on that "bearing false witness" injunction.

But why bother? These pious frauds are guilty, guilty, GUILTY of indecency and abandoning basic morality. There aren't enough words in our language to describe the mind-numbing hypocrisy of these spoon-clangers, whose racism and soul-corruption is out there for ALL to see without even a mild rebuke from clerical leaders who can't rush to a microphone fast enough if the subject is homosexuality or abortion.

And Speaking of Ronaldus Magnus...

Let's not talk about *your* special friend, Rush: Biggus Dickus.

Hmm, well....

Is the writer trying to be ironic by stating that men tend to be squeamish seeing other men's bodies (a factoid not borne out by mainstream pornography) but then writing about it with "eeewww, icky!" sentiment. "Blue super junk?" Isn't this just perpetuating the concept of male nudity being, well, icky?

Men Talk That Way Because...

Men are conditioned to talk that way. Youg men in particular ape what they see in popular culture and assume that's what being a man is all about. I mean, after all, fifty years ago, were there any jokes about men needing to ask for directions? You see and hear it now, so it *must* be true, ergo, we make a movie or a commercial reinforcing that men need to ask for directions and see it as a male "characteristic."

But men, as many may be shocked to learn, are verbal hypocrites to no end. Men *think* they need to be vulgar to be a man, but they often don't dare to say that kind of stuff in front of their girlfriends and wives.

Ah, There's the Rub

So, the President of the United States of America was heckled by a congressman. You know what? The heckler's poll numbers will go up, he'll claim he's fighting for "what he believes in" to "rescue the country" and scores of easily duped people in South Carolina will back him.

**That's** the reality now, and **that's** the official Republican response: "You lie!"

You tried, Mr. President. They don't want you, they don't like you. Not stop trying to make friends with them.

Now....

...can't we all forgive him, as fast as he's forgiven himself?
