Against her will, decades later

Only this time, it's not just one man, it's thousands of people going against the her will, using her over and over and over again, ignoring her humanity and treating her with utter disregard and lack of respect.

But at least Judy Berman got herself off. Multiple times.

And never had to see the consequences.

Just like a man.

Oh. Wait.

Both men AND women die, last time I checked...

...and in the 80s, battalions of gay men died of a little thing called AIDS.

Why does something that affects both sexes have to be called a women's issue and not just a human issue?

I took care of my partner Allen when he was dying. It was because of me and my willingness and my work and HIS wishes that he was able to remain here at home and die here.

I can't think of any part of that that was a women's issue. Or a men's issue.

Do you really have to politicize and over-label everything?

Good Christ, we're PEOPLE. The ones in the family who have to work, work. The ones who aren't working are the obvious choice to stay at home and care for the ones who are infirm and dying, male or female.

Choices get made and they may not be optimal and rich people, as in all things, have more options than poor people, MALE AND FEMALE.

Why do I get this feeling that sometimes feminism needs to invoke eminent domain over whatever it is they feel strongly about just to get noticed, then settle for whatever they get?

It's a smart tactic, politically speaking, but in the process, you really fuck with a lot of people's feelings, people who SUPPORT the rights of us all.

So from a MAN who's going to die one day, who gave end-of-life care to someone who DID DIE one day 14 years ago, this time around, go fuck yourselves.

And have a nice day.

Original article: The Emmys are a rerun!

Don't let "fact" stop you, Heather!

In fact, everyone is tweeting about how this year's Emmys were way, way better than last year's

Never mind that the people that watched the show, including me, ENJOYED the show, Heather knows better! It's all about who won what AND NOTHING ELSE!

This year's Emmys were way way better than last year's. I enjoyed them way way more. Neil Patrick Harris' emceeing was one for the ages.

But you know better. I'm wrong to have this opinion because Heather told me so.

Jesus Skateboarding Christ, Heather. Have your own opinion--it's not like any of us can stop you, but don't try to twist the reality of what the rest of the world seems to think to make it agree with you.

Original article: Finale recap: "True Blood"

Heather's got a bug up her ass...

...about people who are there for you.

It takes bravery to keep failing and keep coming back for more and takes humility to ask for help.

Give Bill a break. If he's so weak and useless, why do all the other vampires seem to not be able to ignore him?

Sookie may be destined for greater things and may be accumulating powers and good for her and Bill may be the only one who ends up being not only contented but thrilled to be Mr. Sookie instead of insisting on having a Mrs. Compton on his arm.

When Sookie started having the sex dreams about Eric (who I otherwise love), it was clear that there was zero chemistry between the two of them, tho I happily welcome the way his naked body curves as they position him in all those shots to puritanically hide his genitals.

I was initially disappointed in the finale, but I woke up today remembering parts of it and laughing my ass of at the absurd moments: Tara and Eggs and an Egg! Maryann luridly cozying up to a bull....

And I thought Bill was adorable that after 150 years Bill was a bundle of nerves asking Sookie to marry him.

It's easy to tell others "it's just a TV show", but we all have reactions to it and we all have varying levels of investment in it, and I've gotten a lot of enjoyment out of it.

Last year I couldnt' wait for Season 2 to start...this time around...I think I need some time off to rest. :)

Original article: Fear of a gay planet

KellyQ, dear...

Kelly Q, dear, I think the article--and many of the responses--are tongue in cheek.

If not, then ironically, we've found the gays Heather can't seem to find with both hands and a fleshlight.

Boring and Stupid Gays in a Stereotyped World

In a Stereotyped World, try Circuit Partiers. And Bears.

Anyone who hasn't sanded down the seams from the injection-molding process they went through in becoming Just Like Everyone Else.

In a Stereotyped World.

Not that I know any B&SGs personally.

Well, wait, I do. But they're only boring because they've chosen to shut down the interesting parts.

Original article: Levi Johnston: Stud

It also kills a double-standard.

It's always the females they want to objectify. Just today Jessica Biel was named the most dangerous celebrity on the internet for as a search term with respect to getting viruses.

I say it's time the males start doing their part for king and country!

We all know that the objectification of women (relative to men) isn't going to go away by men suddenly culturally castrating themselves, it's going to happen when everyone is objectified equally until finally nudity is so mundane that it finally reaches its proper place: that nudity is natural and not titillating.

Keep it coming. Johnston poses in his altogether and we never have to wonder what his penis looks like again.

Sarah Palin gets embarrassed ONLY to the weak, pathetic, tight-asses who imbue her with a godhead and the rest of us know it's just nudity, that it was someone else doing what he wanted with his own body (ooooh, choice!).

Bristol already knows his penis by sight--and other senses as well!

It's just nudity.

Wait, he's not doing gay porn is it?

IS HE???? ;)
