St. Obama
[Read the article: Geraldine Ferraro still needs to apologize]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]Actually Obama said:
"The argument is not that I'm pristine, because I'm swimming in the same muddy water," Obama said. "The argument is that I know it's muddy and I want to clean it up."
No one has tried to make him out to be a messiah figure, a saint or claim that he inhabits some elevated plain higher than the common man, except Hillary and her supporters. In their zeal to put forward a fatally flawed candidate, Hillary's supporters have had to brand Obama as some kind of wannabe savior simply because he has hope, because he inspires faith in his supporters that things can be better, and because he wants to try to do things differently.

@KateTex
[Read the article: Geraldine Ferraro still needs to apologize]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]"Rekzo will never be bullshit. It goes straight to the issue of Obama's character - or lack of it. We now find out that Obama flat out lied about the extent of Rezko's financial support. How many lies do you think this guy going to get away with? Do you understand the harm his candidacy is doing? It's giving more ammunition to real racists and giving great pause to those Americans for whom voting for any black for any position is brand new"
I love how you can ignore all of the salient points in a post to zero in on the one issue that you think will allow you to keep making your argument.
There is no evidence to support your claim that Obama "flat out lied about the extent of Rezko's support." There is no evidence to suggest that Obama has done anything illegal connected with Rezko. There is no evidence to suggest that he has repeatedly told lies. There is no evidence to suggest that his candidacy is doing harm to anyone, except Hillary supporters who are apoplectic about the idea of anyone except Hillary becoming the nominee.
If, as you insist, Obama is guilty because of his association with Rezko, then please explain why Hillary is not quilty because of her association with Hsu, because of her associations with any of the myriad friends and associates who have been convicted of fraud, perjury and other misdoings. Please explain how Obama is giving more ammunition to real racists, but Hillary and her willingness to use race and racism to earn white votes is not?

@Katetex: keep the crazy coming
[Read the article: Geraldine Ferraro still needs to apologize]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]Obama: "The argument is not that I'm pristine, because I'm swimming in the same muddy water," Obama said. "The argument is that I know it's muddy and I want to clean it up."
Katetex: "This is an entirely self serving 'argument'; it actually reinforces the claim that Obama has tried to position himself as a superior being forced to enter the human muck in order to save it from itself."
I love it!
Every now and then the Hillary supporters say something so crazy, something that so completely tanks her argument that it makes me laugh. If you can really take someone saying that he wants to help clean up Washington and twist that into an example of how he "tried to position himself as a superior being," then you shouldn't vote for Obama when he wins the nomination. Although, you probably also shouldn't be trying to help Hillary. You're doing more harm than good.
