Wide stance
[Read the article: "I heard a man open his heart up"]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]I hate to bring this up, but anyone who has ever worn pants knows that the only way to have a wide stance while defecating is to either take them all the way off, or leave them all the way on. Otherwise the waistband restricts the stance to something quite a bit less than wide. I'm guessing the Senator had them off.
It feels great to see another scumbag lying douchebag get his due, and pound one more nail into the republican party coffin. I pray this guy runs in 2008.
The harder they come, the harder they fall, one and all...

Wide Stance
[Read the article: Larry Craig's bathroom behavior and the right wing -- then and now]

UCLA
[Read the article: King Kaufman's Sports Daily]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]has Notre Dame on the schedule, but Notre Dame somehow managed to drop out of the top 25 this year. When the schedule was made that game certainly appeared to be between two top 25 teams. Also, ULCA scheduled BYU, and again when that game was scheduled both teams were expected to remain in the top 25...In the recent past UCLA has played non conference games against Michigan, Alabama, Oklahoma, Tennessee, Nebraska, and others. I am sure many 1A schools have scheduled respectable opponents, only to see them drop out of the top 25. The only way to resolve the issue is to wait to schedule games until the polls are released, which is not a viable option. Until then all the schedule makers can do is do their best to schedule good non conference opponents.
Polls are worthless anyway, all they reflect is one sportswriter's or coach's opinion over another's, neither of which have any credibility. Unless it's resolved on the field, the ranking of one team ahead of another based on a poll is ludicrous. Take last year, for example. I believe Boise State should have been voted number one, just because their win over Oklahoma was so exciting and different and FUN. Sure, Florida won the "National Championship Game" but that game sucked, compared to the Boise State game...

BAM! POW! SMACK!
[Read the article: The GOP's crowded closet]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]And the hits just keep on coming. I pray that the good Senator decides to run for re-election. I bet by the time this is done, we will have outed the biggest evangelical scumbag closet case of all - GWB. I mean, just take a look at Laura, could you have sex with that cold fish? Also, all his macho posturing is classic cover up behavior.

[Read the article: Ohio congressman found dead in Washington]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]"The only way this would have been better for you folks is if he died with another man on top of him, also dead, in the middle of intercourse."
If the past is any guide to the future, no doubt that revelation is soon to come...

@ normanx
[Read the article: 2006 by 2008? Well, maybe not exactly]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]"If Congress, with its Democrat majority, wanted to end the war, they could do so by passing a bill that would end the war. The President could even veto it. As long as Congress does not revise the bill to the presidents liking, no bill is passed, no funds will be raised. End of war."
Exactly right. The Democrats need to forge ahead, with or without the Republicans. Now is the time.

wow
[Read the article: So long, white boy]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]I always knew that people who listen to drug limpdick are deluded, but I had no idea that they are all miserable wretches as well. The self loathing inherent in their desperate justification of their moral superiority could keep a team of psychiatrists busy for several lifetimes. I would pity them if their hypocrisy and self righteousness hadn't resulted in so many needless deaths of innocent people in faraway lands, stretching all the way back to Reagan. Instead I despise them and everything they stand for. There may or may not be a god that will judge them in the afterlife, but here on earth they deserve as much scorn and loathing as we can muster.
Disclaimer: I am a white boy who grew up in Colorado, in a district where the republican congressman routinely runs unopposed, so I am quite familiar with the breed. White male is sort of a misnomer, what we are really talking about is rednecks.
