She's lying
[Read the article: Gonzales vs. Gonzales]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]You can see it in her eyes. What arrogance, what hubris these evangelicals have. What hypocrites they are. If there really is a god, and he is not a vindictive bastard (a pretty unsafe assumption), the republican party will soon go the way of the dodo.

Spin it hard
[Read the article: Can Dems spin Iraq war cave-in as a victory?]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]As we have seen over the last six years, if the Democrats can spin it loud enough, long enough, and hard enough that this is a victory for them, voters will believe it. The substance, the reality, the truth of it means absolutely nothing. All that matters is the image. I'd like to think it was different in some hazy nostalgic past, but I believe it was ever thus. There's a sucker born every minute, let's grab the suckers now and worry about consequences later, it's the way of the world.

The best thing that could happen
[Read the article: Clinton will still go to Iowa]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]to this process is if Iowa and New Hampshire are made irrelevant. I think she should concentrate on Florida Jan 29 and then the big enchilada Feb 5. I can't understand why anyone should care about either of those states at this point. Neither one is even remotely representative of the majority of the people in this country. Who needs 'em.

We're all going to hell
[Read the article: Improvement in Iraq: Trust Joe Klein and his secret sources]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]and deservedly so, for allowing this to happen.

If there is a hell
[Read the article: Inside the Creation Museum]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]we're all going there...except the athiests, they will go to heaven...

Face it
[Read the article: The slow road to "progress"]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]thanks to bush, the mightiest military in history got its ass kicked. Everyone knows we've lost and we're leaving sooner or later.

How come
[Read the article: "The Pulitzers are history, thank you"]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]Freudenthal is picking a republican? You can bet if the reverse was true, Republican governor and Democratic legislature, there is no way that would happen...

Paris Hilton
[Read the article: Joe Klein's stirring defense of Lewis Libby]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]I for one wanted to see her out. Nothing she did merits 45 days in the hellhole that is the LA County Jail. In fact, you could make the case that her celebrity actually increased her sentence, as most people convicted of her crime spend at most several hours in jail until they are bailed out and sent home with an ankle bracelet. On the other hand, I can't wait to see Libby incarcerated. His crimes victimized millions of people, and the fact that it drives people like Joe Klein up a tree only vindicates the verdict. You know if the spinmeisters are up in arms, something good has happened.

For the love of God
[Read the article: September song]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]No one should be allowed to start a war unless he is forced to actually fight it. We are in serious end of the Roman Empire territory, here...At least that's my assessment of the metric that enables us to see if a-a-a new way forward is perhaps conducive to a continuing reevaluation of the situation on the ground in case the prior assessment's metrics have become invalid due to unforeseen circumstances beyond the control of...of...DANGER WILL ROBINSON!!!!!
I have stuck by the Democrats my entire life but if they don't initiate impeachment proceedings soon I am abandoning ship.

@ anonymous
[Read the article: September song]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]Exactly. So far, I have not done a whole lot other than bitch about it online, write a few letters to Barbara Boxer and Dianne Feinstein, and put an impeach bush bumpersticker on my car. SO I guess I'm going to hell along with the rest of us...

Forward he cried
[Read the article: Reporting for duty, sir]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]from the rear
and the front line died
and the generals sat
and the lines on the map
moved from side to side...
- Pink Floyd
I was at the Roger Waters concert at the Hollywood Bowl last night and he effing RIPS bush and blair but good. Highly recommended. They had a gigantic helium filled pig that they bring out and sail around the audience, with stuff written on the side like "Habeus Corpus Matters" and "Torture Degrades Us All" and "Impeach Bush" and it was AWESOME!
Go if you get a chance.

I have been a Democrat all my life, and I am getting old, but if they don't impeach Bush and Cheney, I swear to god I am leaving the party...

Declare victory
[Read the article: "The wrong metric"]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]and pull out.
-
The only answer
[Read the article: Cheney blinks?]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]is impeachment of both of them. Anything else is not going to work and worse, just makes the Dems look spineless. There's more than enough evidence of high crimes and misdemeanors, and you can bet the voters will love it, after all, we love nothing more than a good fight, especially when it can be cast as good versus evil...
-
I almost
[Read the article: "Live Free or Die Hard"]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]hit Steve Martin with a golf ball once while he was walking across the pitch and putt where they were filming LA Story, does that count?
BW IS an asshole, but Die Hard was a good movie. The sequels never match up to the orignal though...
-
There's no hope
[Read the article: Ann Coulter gets what she deserves]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]We're all going to hell. About the only good thing you can say about Bush is that at least he is smarter than anyone that voted for him.
-
Forget about the small states
[Read the article: Florida election mayhem for 2008]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]The sooner we get Iowa and New Hampshire out of the way, the better. Let 'em vote in December, for all I care. There is no good reason for either of those to be "first," and a lot of good reasons to bypass them. If I'm Edwards, I ignore those states an go flat out for Florida and then the big enchilada on Feb 5. When he loses in Iowa or N.H., he can always say, well, I never expected to win those anyway.
-
Right on pluribus
[Read the article: Hillary commutes her views on Libby]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]"Unelectable" is meaningless. The way to win an election is to make your opponent look worse than you, early, often, and hard. As far as I am concerned, only Hillary has shown that she is willing to do that.

Dear Democratic Congress
[Read the article: "It is my judgment"]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]Impeach. Impeach. Impeach. Impeach. Impeach. Impeach. Impeach. Impeach. Impeach. Impeach. Impeach. Impeach.
Now.
