  • This is exasperating

[Read the article: In other words]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

Bush is an idiot. There's no nice way to say it. And if you voted for him, you are either an idiot, a fool, or a sucker. Again, there's no nice way to say it.

  • Impeach

[Read the article: Want change in Iraq? You've already got it]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

Now, now, now, for the love of god. Before any more people have to die for this misbegotten fiasco. I know there must be some Democratic Congresspeople that read Salon. What are you wating for?

  • Emergency Supplemental Spending Bill

[Read the article: A meeting with the president]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

is so dull. The Democrats should call it the Win in Iraq Bill. Or the Fully Fund Our Victory Initiative. Or the Islamofascist Eradication Act of 2007. It matters not what the bill actually does, but it matters greatly how it is referred to in the media...

  • Drip drip drip

[Read the article: Yeah, that's the ticket]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

What's it gonna take for people to wake up and realize the only thing that can be done to resolve this mess is to impeach both Cheney and Bush, in that order?

  • Paglia

[Read the article: Real inconvenient truths]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

Pedantic. Pusillanimous. Pompous. Pretentious. Purely. Pointless. Pap.

  • How many laws

[Read the article: Dana Perino has very large hands]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

have to be broken by these guys before they get impeached?

  • Bush

[Read the article: He didn't mean to leak Plame's identity, either]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

will be gone by the end of the summer, all the BS in the world can't stop it now. It'll be the republicans that push him out, just like with old Tricky, becasue right now they are facing a meltdown of historic proportions in the House and the Senate, as well as Statehouses and Governor's mansions all across this great country of ours. Not to mention their frontrunning candidate for President is a Massachusetts flip flopper (can't wait to see what happens there). And he'll take President Cheney with him.

  • We get

[Read the article: Abortion and the court, or the silver lining that isn't]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

the government we deserve. Anyone who voted for Bush can share the blame for this horrible piece of legislation passing SC muster (of course the SC has no credibility at this point anyway, so just beacuse they rule on something doesn't really mean anything will change, but they do still have a little power). On the plus side, it's so badly written that it will not be settled for the next ten years. On the minus side, it's bound to have a chilling effect on medical practices in every state, making legal abortions that much harder to get.

One part of the bill actually gives fathers, parents, and grandparents the right to sue doctors for damages. I have no doubt that lawyers have already started to chase clients...

  • Good point Tim

[Read the article: From Blacksburg to Baghdad]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

Keep in mind that there are only 25 million Iraqis, vs. about 330 million Americans, so 650,000 Iraqis is equivalent to, um, 8 million Americans or thereabouts...

Unless we impeach and imprison Bush and all his cohorts, including probably everyone who voted for him, we're all going to hell.

  • One other thing

[Read the article: From Blacksburg to Baghdad]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

SO Tiberius, transparent utter hatred of Bush is a bad thing because? If you can give me one good reason not to hate Bush, I would be willing to give it a try...in the meantime I'm proud of it and I think it indicates superior moral character.

  • To everyone

who voted for Bush: What the hell is wrong with you people?

  • Elephantman/woman

[Read the article: A Gonzales resignation is not enough]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

If that's the best you got, then my work here is done...your boy is going down and neither you nor your ilk can stop it or even slow it down.

  • Searching for Elephantman/woman's biography

[Read the article: Not exactly Stephen Colbert]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

I cannot find any biographical information about Elephantman/woman's education and professional background. His/Her fake name doesn't even turn up anything when googled.

Even his/her Wikipedia entry does not contain any educational or professional information.

I know that, like George Bush, Elephantman/woman has no professional background, but what I am wondering is who pays him/her to blog here?

  • I'm with you

[Read the article: Giuliani pulls a Cheney]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

anonymous. The longer this goes on without impeachment proceedings, the darker the stain of blood on the hands of Bush supporters. They disgust and sicken me. Even the ones in my own family...

  • Hamina Hamina Hamina

[Read the article: "The president heard the call"]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

makes as much sense as Perino...it would be funny if so many people hadn't been killed needlessly. Anyone who voted for and continues to support these warmongers, blood is on their hands. They will never be able to wash it off, nor explain it away. May they rot in hell...

  • Give 'em hell Harry

[Read the article: Senate sets Iraq timetable]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

No retreat, no surrender. Make those sorry SOBS stand up and defend the veto (if indeed it comes...).

  • Sooner or later

[Read the article: The long war]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

we will leave, it's just a mattter of when...my guess is well before the 2008 election, there's no way the republicans are going into 2008 with this millstone around their necks.

  • The past

[Read the article: Tenet: Bush, Cheney went to war with no "serious debate"]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

isn't dead, it's not even past.

  • "Journalists like Akers"

[Read the article: The Dan Gerstein sham]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

She's not a journalist as far as I can tell, maybe she writes stuff but that does not a journalist make...

will Congress get off its a** and impeach...

  • I feel it

[Read the article: A genuine political sea change?]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

Millions are abandoning the "traditional" media in favor of the internet. I for one refuse to buy a newspaper or watch network news, what isn't lies I can find online, and what is (most of it) I am not interested in. If I want TV news, I just watch the Daily Show or the Colbert Report. What I see on there, even though it's supposed to be fake, is more real than ABC CBS or NBC. I suspect there are a lot of people just like me too.

Oh, and for you trolls (you know who you are) a ha-ha-ha ha-ha. Your boy, along with his bloody and soiled underpants, is going down, and taking you with him...praise be to Jebus...

  • Impeach

It was a Bahne, I think, everyone had one in 1978...I wish I still had it now, I'd go down to Venice and see if I could find Keefe...

  • Bloodspots

    [Read the article: Various items]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

Just like Lady MacBeth, all these mugs (Colin Powell, for one, and this guy Tenant, for another) are, consciously or unconsciously, trying to wash the bloodspots from their hands, and just like Lady MacBeth, they will be unable to do so.
