Yes you did sweep me up in a broad net. I have been swept up in broad nets constantly. I am either too young to understand issues, a sexist, hypnotised, etc., none of them which are true. I accept your apology and hope you know I will vote for Clinton if she is nominated.

Now back to racism, here is a post from another thread I did answer:

    --------------------

And that is why Mr. Obama, Reverend Wright, Louis Farrakhan, and any formerly oppressed person waging war on the enemy using the same weapons as their named enemy and at the same time claiming moral highground and thus the right to do it are more dangerous than the original wrongdoers. This level of hypocrisy knows no bounds, and this level of hatred knows no limits. The victim seeks ultimate payback, and if you listen to these men speak they want death and destruction to come to the enemy. All non-blacks should heed this as a warning, because you are the enemy according to these men and no punishment is severe enough."

    ------------------------

Can you imagine why some african american people in here might get sensitive? This poster was literally saying beware of blacky who wants to kill you. This is getting way way beyond a tough campaign or hard politics.

I never assumed Clinton supporters were dogs.

Why did you even post that?

Isn't Raum Emmanuel a Hillary supporter? I always thought he might be because he is a DLC member.

Should be cut and pasted on every thread in here, often, and a number of other sites also.

  • Thank you for getting back to the War

There has been an appalling neglect of the war and I hope it resumes it's place in the media eye.

    ------------------

There is no such thing as bad publicity might work for starlets, but I am not sure it is going to work for our election process. The more this drags out, the more bad publicity will be hoisted upon both candidates. McCain is out of the frey, and may pick up steam later in the season when it counts.

With lights constantly shown on both candidates it puts a pressure on them to never never slip up. These are public servents, not actors working with scripts.

I have my doubts that this is good for the general electorate. It's good for the individual states involved with a primary at that time as it generates a temporary excitment, it's good for the media that feeds on this process, but I don't think this is good for the rest of us.

[Read the article: Michigan primary law ruled unconstitutional]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

You had to link into the Detroit News link:

U.S. District Judge Nancy Edmunds agreed with the American Civil Liberties Union, arguing on behalf of several small political parties, that the law's provision giving the list of voters' partisan preference only to the Democratic and Republican parties violated the rights of other parties.

Michigan Democratic Party Chairman Mark Brewer said the ruling may have ended any chances of a new Democratic election to resolve the ongoing dispute over the state's delegation to the Democratic National Convention. The state party, he said, needs the list to ensure that no one who voted in the Republican primary in January votes in any new Democratic contest, as required under the national party's rules.

  • I am appalled at this response

[Read the article: The strange case of midnight renegade oleander gentrification camouflage]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

Nasty creepy lady asked the LW to chip in! So it's already LW's business.

How utterly offensive. If there is justice the nasty neighbor's home value fell way below her balloon mortgage.

Talk to your next door neighbor and ask if she likes the hedge. If she doesn't then call the municipality and find out if any ordinances (other than the obvious tresspassing) have been violated, then call the cops so they can demand that the nasty neighbor remove them.

Your relationship with this nasty neighbor is destroyed but that is no loss. Your own bad feelings will eventually blow over but you are doing the right thing by having the sense to be angry.

Karla I agree. Anyone that has that non-existent sense of boundary and unbeleivable sense of entitlement will not stop.

domini - good point. This neighbor might be positioning herself to harrass that elderly woman much more even if she is not aware of it.

  • This doesn't deserve comments

This Fox mini dust-up did not deserve the obvious clarification.

Dear Ms. Walsh, may I suggest a story on "Operation Choas?"

Seems to be quite the growing concern, but I read almost zero about it in the lefty net press.

You are welcome. I do not beleive Condie Rice's remarks were an accident at all, but she is in her way and as much as she can, defending the Obama's.
