Either your argument is faulty or opensecrets.org is supplying false information. According to opensecrets.org, Obama's PAC contributions is $25. Furthermore, By your estimate, the only non-PAC contributions would only come from the unemployed or from contributions less than $200. Also, the unemployed contributer would have to be a single person since a married unemployed person would have their contributions counted towards their spouse's employer.
But honestly, according to opensecrets.org, most PAC contributions target members running for the Senate. Opensecrets.org states that in presidential elections only about 1% of total the contributions come from PACs. Even Hillary's PAC contributions is less than a million which is less than 1% of total.
Obama is not changing the face of American Politics...The American People are, for in this great nation, it is the people who have the power...when they choose to use it.
The American People want change, renewal and the restoration of our good name and our great promise which has been sullied by the current administration, virtually every Republican, and most Democrats in Washington...The American People are awakening...an unstoppable political revolution has been born by True Patriots who believe in protecting Our Constitution from the thieves of Liberty who enacted the "Patriot Act."
John McCain...now supports torture...after being a war prisoner himself...he has sold his soul to blind self-serving ambition...he is a hero no more. His values, like advocating water boarding, are too vulgar to mention to children, and his sarcastic, snide, and false political comments about Democrats are un-Christian. Its sad to see what a monster Washington can make out of a once decent man...Americans, keep your children and our future away from his blood stained hands.
Of all the political candidates,I have only heard Obama say, "I pray to Jesus Christ," and like Christ, he is attacked by the "Religious Right" for his Light. Shame and woe to McCain and his blasphemous followers.
The American People see through Hillary now, and how all of her "experience" did not help her manage her money (and she wants to manage America's economy) or campaign.
Obama offers more than "hope." He offers solutions. Obama's plan of a $4,000 per child per year college tuition credit is a solution to a dying middle class...anyone out there really believe he isn't getting votes from Democrats and Republicans and Independents alike with promises like those? How else can one explain Hillary losing twenty point leads to be crushed? She isn't offering the American People anything. Too bad...she could have been great had she spoke from her heart rather than from the scripts of her paid advisors to the tune $200,000.00/mo.
When Obama speaks the truth about Hillary it is not going negative. He has been overly gentelmenly thus far considering her and her husbands shameful and vulgar behavior of mocking his message of hope and lying about his record, and their insinuations of impropriety. Particularlly shameful are her recent suggestions of impropriety trying to link Obama to the charges being brought against Rezko, still only charges (don't mind her entourage of convicted felons...we all know the names), at the same time that she and her husband are currently embroiled in yet another sleezy clintonesque drama set to go to trial this November in the Peter Paul versus Hillary and Bill Clinton Lawsuit in a Federal Elections Fraud lawsuit, a case in which Hillary is said to have kept 1.2 million dollars of illegally raised money which she refuses to return (just google it). Of course the "liberal" media is not covering this story because the "liberal" media is actually controlled by neocons protecting one of their own, Hillary Clinton, who has a proven hawkish neocon war voting record. No wonder she doesn't want to level with the American People and disclose her tax records!!! Obama is on the high road, he has the courage to speak the truth, and it is the truth that needs to be spoken about Hillary at a crucial moment to protect the naive and uninformed and fatigued Americans from a continuation down the current path to hell that her votes have taken us: $106 barrels of oil...a currency irrevocably plummeting...a three trillion dollar war...gold at $1000 oz...a broken health care system whereby even the expensivley insured will probably die by being denied treatment while HMO CEO's pocket their premiums and Hillary takes her cut of their lobbyist money. And all Hillary can offer Americans is, "I can answer the phone better at 3 a.m." "I am ready from day one." "I have 35 years of experience..." "I didn't really mean my vote authorizing a NeoCon war and bankruptcy legislation." Does anyone know what Hillary means? We know her husband has difficulty in understanding what the meaning of "is" is, so perhaps the meaning of "truth" is hopelessly beyond them. And to think she can continue campaigning, knowing full well that the American people will eventually discover this shameful trial that is set for this November, while attacking Obama's integrity, is proof that she has no shame. God help us.
I agree with the comment that Obama has thicker skin than he is perceived as having...smart people always do...and he is smart...Clinton is clever...and that is her strength...but cleverness can be out smarted...so far, relying on her cleverness has been her downfall. She is still, even after Texas and Ohio, 150 delegates behind!
Incidentally, it is interesting that the candidate who has been trailing so far behind for so long is graciously offering Obama a place on her ticket. Anyone who thinks she would choose Obama as a VP hasn't been paying attention...she is clever...she will invoke Obama's name and the tidal wave of his support...to gain a few votes...but keep her word...here is someone who doesn't read a bill authorizing war before she signed it...and she is an attorney...and,we all know how the Clinton's treated their own VP.
