  • It's a question of taste

[Read the article: All the guys I'm dating want me to shave down there]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

Put me firmly in the box with the other trimmed to bare aficionados. Every woman I've known who has done so has said it enhanced the sexual experience. Not only do I think it looks sexy on most women, it allows the cunning linguist full access to every square inch of territory without the worry of ingesting unnecessary hair.

  • Teilhard de Chardin

[Read the article: The atheist delusion]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

For those of you interested in some of the source for Haught's work there is a new biograpy out of de Chardin, The Jesuit and the Skull.

  • I'm sorry but how rough can it be?

[Read the article: How does a single father ever get laid?]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

Having gone through this very life experience complete with two children under the age of four I don't find much here that clicks my sympathy button. Not one but two nannys and our poor author thinks he is off to a rough start? That's like calling a vacation "roughing it" when your hotel room doesn't have a towel warmer. When you combine the dumb-ass moves of (a) no lock on the bedroom door and (b) giving the ex unfettered access to the house, the only hardship is self-inflicted. This is not touching, whimsical, or even a little bit humorous.

I won't read the book so I'll have to hope our "hero" is not dumb enough to bone the nanny.

  • This is news?

[Read the article: McCain's other lobbyist connections]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

Lobbyists and former lobbyists are everywhere. The revolving door between government and lobbying firms has been a source of righteous or otherwise indignation for as long as I can remember and I'm getting up there. A former lobbyist even ran for the Republican nomination. Give me something with a little more substance.

  • A deal's a deal.

[Read the article: King Kaufman's Sports Daily]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

Every single player in MLB signed the same contract which as King correctly points out means that it doesn't matter how well anyone does compared to anyone else at whatever position he is bound to the same compensation levels as the knuckleballer who was 10 - 16 last season. That's the way it works. He had a choice and he chose. I hear they're hiring in Japan.

    Shut your piehole and play.

  • Yes but ...

[Read the article: Bush misleads on ANWR]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

Yes of course W got the facts wrong; it's one of the few things he does well. But that's a distraction: Will a million barrels a day make a difference when the days of peak oil have come and gone?

  • Maybe too late for consideration but...

[Read the article: Genghis Khan, Harlan Ellison and RFK]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

The Point by Harry Nilsson is not just for kids but is a timeless fantasy about non-conformity. The Rock Man taught me a lot about life.

  • Maybe it's true

[Read the article: Why I hate summer]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

Are we in fact a nation of whiners?

  • We all make mistakes

[Read the article: My wife is seeing someone and it hurts more than I expected]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

I have never seen or experienced a relationship improved by seeing other people. In fact the phrase "I think we should see other people" is most frequently translated as either "I am seeing someone" or "there is someone I want to see". The first step to saving your marriage is for both of you to stop dating others. That includes making any discussion of those activities off limits and a blanket amnesty for any excessive fun either of you may have had. Present your estranged spouse with a proposal, not an ultimatum, for a structured cease-fire that includes marital counseling. How she responds will tell you what you need to know.
