Where's the link?
[Read the article: The Swift Boating of Hillary Clinton?]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]Tim Grieve provides link to an ABC report about what Barack Obama said Bill Clinton said. Is it asking too much to hear form Bill Cinton himself?

Clinton Hating 101
[Read the article: The Swift Boating of Hillary Clinton?]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]If a Clinton opponent says somthing negative about a Clinton, do not question the truthfulness of the charge. Run with it. If some nitpicker like the author of "What Bill Clinton Said"
(in the comments above) casts doubt on your attack--Who cares? You might get on Hardball.

World War V
[Read the article: Sizing up the Democratic race so far]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]Hillary Clinton knows exactly how the Russert/Ailes/GOP axis is going to come after her in the general election. All her responses are already loaded into ICBM's for immediate and massive retaliation. Does anyone think Edwards and Obama are prepared for the kind of campaign the Republicans are going to run?
-
He'll have other priorities
[Read the article: The fact that wasn't a fact on Clinton]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]Awaiting Russert's apology this Sunday on Meet the Press--NOT.
-
O'Reilly's the Clincher
[Read the article: Did Fox News chief Ailes try to protect Rudy Giuliani?]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]It never made any sense for Falafel Boy to launch one of his phony crusades against a MURDOCH project. Let's hope he has to testify in January--he might want to stock up on Depends.
-
Your post is ridiculous
[Read the article: Bill Clinton: The Chris Matthews of South Carolina]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]See above.

Obama can't beat McCain
[Read the article: Is it really time to count Clinton out?]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]Once he secures the nomination, Obamamania will become boring. Without the media-driven spectacle of swooning supporters Barack Obama will become just another empty suit full of hot air. The press and the Republicans will begin dismantling the Obama myth piece by piece, leaving McCain once again the last man standing. Clinton can beat McCain on substance. She should stick around to give the Democrats a chance not to act like lemmings.

A very sad day
[Read the article: William F. Buckley Jr. is dead at 82 ]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]Faithful viewers of Buckley's long-running old television show "Firing Line" will always hold him in the highest regard. We learned a lot from him--and not just about politics.
-
Isn't Obama supposed to be The One?
[Read the article: Will loose lips sink anti-NAFTA ships?]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]I thought that he alone was above sleazy politics. If he isn't, then why the hell should anyone vote for him?
-
Obama needs to start dialing this stuff back
[Read the article: "We Are the Ones"]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]It's embarrassing. He's running to be the freaking PRESIDENT. WWFDRD--What would FDR do? Not this crap. Tell the kids to knock it off.
-
He'll have to double down on the speechifying
[Read the article: Clinton, Obama debut new ads]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]Clinton (or McCain) have Obama on video admitting to going AWOL on his only national security job. Ouch. But at least he made a good speech in 2002. Rest on your laurels much?
-
Sixteen months, sixteen years...
[Read the article: Former advisor: Obama's Iraq plan "best-case scenario"]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]Whatever. Did I tell you about this great speech I made in 2002? My judgment rocks!
-
Leave Barack Alone
[Read the article: Clinton and Obama, together at last]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]Paul Krugman and others got slapped down when they suggested that the Obama campaign was a cult of personality, but they were right. No harm may ever come to Obama. Nothing is ever his fault. It's Hillary's responsibility to herd her voters into his camp.
Not a very presidential attitude.

Ministries of Truth
[Read the article: Obama asks top donors to help with Clinton's debt]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]I haven't been to Salon in a while, but it's nice to see that not everyone here feels compelled to prostrate themselves before Big Brother Barack. Elsewhere, the man walks on water and Axelrod is always a genius. It's like there's a telescreen on my wall making sure I don't type anything critical of the Party.

Beggars can't be choosers
[Read the article: Edwards opens door wider to veep bid]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]Nobody else seems to want to run with Obama. Besides, Edwards is unlikely to screw up. The Obama campaign is extremely cautious. Do you really think they're going to pick a loose cannon like Joe Biden or some wild card like Kathleen Sebelius? God knows what they might say or do. And Barack himself is gaffe-prone. He's a little too in love with his own rhetoric.

Character trumps ideology
[Read the article: Learning to live with the "new" Obama]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]Obama's main concern--even more than most politicians (Clinton, Edwards)--has been his own meteoric career. He's never stopped anywhere long enough to bother with anything else.
Once he gets to the White House, there's no telling how far right he'll go. He'll do whatever keeps him on top of the Washington heap. Maybe we should hope that he gets bored after a few months lets somebody with more substance run things.
