These "few" climatologists were responsible for the data that has been relied upon to "prove" warming. Now we have no untainted data sets; especially after others have been caught "fixing" data that shows no warming. After the "fix" we see false warming.
The IPPC is totally discredited. We will have to start over. Only the satellite data is seemingly reliable and it only covers a few decades.
You can not do science if the asshats refuse to release the raw data. How hard is that to understand? How hard is it to understand that these men who have been claiming "the debate is over" destroyed the original data! That means it was a smoking gun.
How hard is it to understand that the published data that the world's climatologists relied up is fake? This is not "a few bad apples" like it was the Bush administration covering its ass --- this goes to the top of the profession.
Now Dr. Mann has thrown Dr. Jones under the bus to save his own sorry, cheating ass. (link at sig)
Sunspot activity may be a primary factor in climate fluctuations, according to Willie Soon, a researcher affiliated with the Harvard-Smithsonian Center for Astrophysics and the Harvard College Observatory, who offered the hypothesis in an interview with TG Daily, an online news source.
Although many climatologists have cited increases in carbon dioxide as the primary cause of the temperature increases associated with global warming, Soon maintained that solar radiation from sunspots also has a great effect.
“The sun is a great driving force to climate change,” Soon said in an interview with The Crimson yesterday, adding that most observed climate data could be explained by fluctuations in solar radiation.
Sunspots—pockets of magnetism on the sun’s surface—generate high levels of energy, which then heat the Earth’s atmosphere.
Soon told TG Daily that the lack of additional energy resulting from a decrease in sunspots is directly responsible for colder temperatures experienced in recent years.
He said that, as of last week, there had been sunspots on only 11 days this year, and there were only 99 days with visible sunspots last year—the second-lowest total since 1911.
Brian F. Farrell, a Harvard meteorology professor, acknowledged a connection between sunspot activity and temperatures on the Earth, but cited other research showing that sunspots only account for an overall temperature change of a tenth of a degree centigrade.
Farrell did acknowledge that there could have been larger temperature effects caused by sunspots in the past.
“A strong correlation between the amount of radioactive carbon and temperature from ice cores has shown that solar activity can affect temperature,” Farrell said.
He cautioned that the link was “a hypothesis...[that] does not have firm scientific grounding.”
But Soon said that there have been much greater temperature fluctuations due to sunspots in the past and that proponents of global warming need to consider the effects of sunspot activity on global temperatures.
Those zany astrophysicists! Oh well, that is the last one for me for a while. See-ya.
PS: It is the sun what warms ya; really.
That is good, but it will be cold in Miami before too many decades are gone. I wonder if kale grows well in sand?
He calls all those who disagree with him "trolls" and yet he is one. He trolls for foolishness.
I hope he is taking care of his health so that he can live to see the next 15 years. They will be cold, and the scam of "man made global warming" will be apparent even to the totally deluded by then. (if not much, much sooner)
Prediction: the Sun is telling us to get out our cold weather gear. Better listen. Even though the governmental agencies will fudge the data and tell you the planet is warming, the plants will know better. We will see high food prices due to the cold; like lettuce just now.
Then I hope you will work on your lack of same. And soon.
I saw this in a scientific blog: If it wasn’t for the catastrophic anthropogenic global warming narrative/myth, this would be front page news. We have a historical correlation between temperature and sunspots, and we may be entering an extended period of weak solar activity. If Earth enters a significant period of cooling and we are unprepared for it, the Global Warming cheerleaders should be held culpable for the results, i.e. crop failures, starvation, cold related deaths, etc.
Here’s some reading material from NASA:

And here’s a good one from Phil Chapman, a geophysicist and astronautical engineer who was the first Australian to become a NASA astronaut:

I cited said paper and you said that a basic freshman physics text disproved that. Now you try to weasel out of what you said.
I will say that the CO2 is poison myth will one day be seen as the politically motivated horse shit that it is. The sun drives the climate and the CO2 levels are too low now. We need more. The plants need more.
By the way, the climategate scandal has show the now discredited CRU hockey team were fixing the data to show warming more than normal even as the temps declined. Why? Why not show the real data? Why pretend that ever increasing CO2 levels did not mean further increase in the global temps?
That was the real experiment. CO2 in the air increases while global temps remain flat or decrease is the refutation to the ridiculous idea that CO2 is poison. And the alarmists hid that fact. Too inconvenient, eh?
