I'm sure most of you have met Larry:

Larry is the man that Obama allegedly felated and smoked crack with in a Limo in Chicago. Larry wants this to be known as we consider if Obama would make a good president. Please note: Larry is not saying there is anything wrong with man on man felatio or the taking of illegal substances; he is merely upset that Barack Obama's campaign and supporters are suppressing the fact of his relationship to Obama.
Ok, so as many of you know I disagree with a few of the fundamental assumptions that Joan has acknowledged are shaping how she covers this primary. Joan is convinced that Obama has enthusiastic supporters who are awful in way that is significant and revealing in terms of Obama's character and/or chances of getting in office. Joan points to many comments on this comment section as "proof" of such awful Obama supporters (but she has recently begun the respectable and appropriate practice of qualifying them as "alleged" Obama supporters). But Joan doesn't comment on the awful Clinton supporters and Joan doesn't mention how justified we are at using them as examples of what we might not like about Clinton. Partly this is due to the fact that Obama has been winning for such a long time, so Joan focuses more on him. Partly this is due to Joan's assumption that awful Clinton supporters are simply part of that unpleasantly large grouping of folks who are simply awful supporters of any candidate.
What does this have to do with our friend Larry? Here is Eve Fairbanks description of standing with the Hillary supporters at today's big meeting as she surprisingly discovered that Larry was one of them:
"They almost made me cry this morning when they told me to get out of
there," the blond Sinclair--who's looking roly-poly and giddy in a
blue-and-white striped shirt with a pack of Marlboros protruding from the
breast pocket--says, referring to several nervous protest organizers who
tried to evict him when he first showed up at the rally site early this
morning carrying a box of "Obama's DIRTY LITTLE SECRETS: Murder, Drugs,
Gay Sex" fliers. Since then, though, he goes on, "I have been totally
surprised by the reception I have received!"
He's not kidding. Clusters of people in Hillary shirts ask to take their
photo with him, one woman covered in Clinton buttons introduces him to
Greta Van Susteren, and he estimates he has handed out 500 fliers. "You
could improve your credibility if you downplayed the gay sex and focused
on the drugs," sagely advises one Hillary supporter with auburn hair and
elegant makeup. But in this universe, Sinclair's credibility doesn't seem
to be suffering too much. In fact, he's treated nearly as well as he might
be at a meeting of the Vast Right-wing Conspiracy. In the thirty minutes I
stand with him, only one woman expresses disgust at his fliers and his
willingness to chattily discourse on whether Obama is "good in bed."
What does this tell us about why many people are enthusiastically supporting Clinton? I know, but 'nothing' has become this primary's fundamental point of divisiveness. I’m not suggesting there are not significant difference between Clinton and Obama; only that these differences are not what account for the divisiveness.
We should watch the clip of the guy mocking Clinton and then watch that clip where Clinton mocks Obama and then watch the one where Obama...where he...Is there a clip where he mocks Clinton the way she went at him a couple months ago? I'm not sure I found one, yet, where he does that thing the other two were doing...
But even if we can't find one, shouldn't we simply chalk that up to his cold strategic ways? When Hillary did her, "The Vaults of Heaven will open up...", it's not like she just came out and directly said, "Obama is stupid" or "Obama prays on false hopes". Not at all; she just flung her arms around, mocked him a little bit and got some good democratic laughs; almost a sort of healing type laughter. Plus, if she was a man, Obama could not have beat him.
Let's find one where he does that to her and watch them all together, starting the healing that Joan says needs to happen. It's a wierd way to heal, but I'm willing to give it a shot.
Didn't Joan write a piece after Hillary mocked him in which she said Hillary's performance brought her down to earth and showed she cared about the working class? And shouldn't we seriously wonder why Obama seems unable to publicly imitate Clinton during speeches? Do we want a leader with that kind of limitation?
If Hillary was a 5'6" man do we really know that she would be doing much better?
