Joan on Bosnia (Two Days Away!)

I think Joan is going to come out hard against the notion that Clinton's Bosnia statements are treated as if she just slipped up. I think she has a good reason that she hasn't said anything yet and I bet she will make it clear very soon. In fact, I'm sticking with my prediction that Joan is very soon to write a blog that takes a clear look at Clinton(but not through the gaze of Fox/CNN). I'm not saying she'll come out against

her, but I do think she'll show that she is far from comfortable with various aspects of Clinton.

Remember, Obama changed the way Joan viewed politics, she just assumed she was voting for him and she has yet to make any critique of him that is all that substantial. In fact the kinds of questions she has for Barack are no different than the kind she has stated about Clinton. He's in the lead; she feels she is being fair and balanced with her approach. Wait for her big blog- less than 48 hours away!

I have no doubt that Joan will have something to say about the Bosnia comments and I don't think she will feel comfortable leaving at slips-of-the- tongue.

By the way, has Joan said anything about McCain's "mistatements" from last week? I can't imagine she lets those stand as simple, repeated, slips of the tongue, does she?

Just give her two more days!

@virtue001- Joan COULD NOT have said that

No way. No way. No way.

There is no way on earth that Joan said Clinton realized she misremembered her experience of not being attacked only upon seeing the video.

No way. Nobody on earth really believes that they can forget they weren't attacked at a specific time. Nobody. Therefore, Joan said nothing of the kind. You see?

As you know, I am convinced she is a Barack supporter and I'm convinced we are about to hear her say some incisive things about Clinton. Joan is not a baby. She is not a Fox pundit. Please don't try to tell me that Joan made such comments about what Hiliary said.

The way I know for certain that Joan did not say anything like what you suggest is that she has made many critical comments about various aspects of Barack that lead her to doubt his streangth as a canditate. She has. So there is not a chance on this earth that Joan isn't taking very seriously Clinton's Bosnia statements as an example of something she is deeply concerned about. Just wait. We are only one day away from Joan's Blog on this matter. You will see.

But seriously: I would like to see where she said that quote about Cliton's comments. Thanks much.

YES (updated prediction: Joan is BACK)

I think this was Joan's way of saying she is done playing the ridiculous game of trying to sound balanced by scooping the mainstream sewage ("doubts") on whoever the front runner may be in the Democratic Primary.

Unfortunately this wonderful new Joan-Direction also signals the retraction of my prediction that tomorrow we would see her first critical examination of the Clinton machine. I guess I'm happy to see that Joan will no longer be doing the

Obama said some really inspirational things, but I don't know, something tells me that something's just not right about him. Maybe when we learn more about his preacher, these doubts will go away

Those days are gone! It didn't fit Joan and I'm glad she's back to her big brain again. She doesn't need to endorse Obama. She just needs to use her noodles to dig around whatever mythologies the mainstream press and McMackites will be brandishing (not sure if that word is real or, if so, being used correctly)in the weeks to come. I was looking forward to Joan's essay on Clinton's shadow (if for no other reason than to earn an incredible amount of street cred in this cyberhood)but it will be a relief to see her back in her true form and providing solid analysis for us to get our brains moving.

Thanks, Joan!!!!

p.s. Joan if you want to send me the essay-that-wasn't, you can reach me at imeanitcommatotally@yahoo.com

No Way (Joan, Barack and Ebay)

Ok; I saw it:

But there is NO WAY that Joan is going to see that and get objectively suspicious about what kind of a president Barack would make. I think some folks are taking their Joan anger too far. Sure, she might view that and think that due to senator Clinton's greater experience she would have handled that more honestly and with more class, but that is a far cry from viewing that interaction and then writing a blog about Barack's reaction as yet another instance of why, perhaps, Hilary is more ready for day one.

Sorry, I just don't see Joan going there!

@-Xrandadu Hutman (AGREED)

Yes, I thought Barack's response was great. I love the part where he concedes but qualifies his acceptance with, "But I am not going to smile"...It makes me uncomfortable seeing a guy get that close with that sort of insistence.
