Joan Being Catholic

I've read many people trying to draw an analogy between those who still associate with the Catholic Church and Obama's desperate and constant worshipping of the Rev. Wright.

It doesn't work.

Look, If Joan Walsh was running for president she would undoubtedly leave the catholic church for its chronic and patterned abuse of children. She would make it a big deal even if the media did not. She would make sure that everybody knew she had decided to leave the church and she might even leave the church before running for president so she could look really righteous. I bet that if Joan were planning to run for president she would write some intense bloggs in which she constantly scratches her head and shares her sadness about people's choice to continue associating with an organization that clearly attempted to cover up sexual abuse against children.

But Joan isn't running for president. She is trying to figure out why Barack is constantly so disappointing and worrying to her. Her job is relentlessly wonder aloud as to Barack's imperfections. She is concerned that his imperfections might receive so much attention (fair or not) that it will be impossible for him to win the election.

Joan is not saying it is right that Hillary can get away with certain kinds of things that Barack can't (misstatements and overstatements), but shouldn't we use that to our advantage? For whatever reason, Hillary has this strange built in media protection. They will be really hard on her on specific things, but her experience, strength, courage and intelligence is never up for question. Barack is getting trounced. Look how weak his body is for goodness sake. Look how snobby you can imagine him in your mind. Can't you just make images in your head of him thinking rich people are better than poor people....and then you can start to forget you made those images up and really begin believing that you've seen them for real!

We know Hillary is a genius about how to use the United States army. We know she won't make tactical errors or be over aggressive towards Iran. But look at Barack. We know he might not know how to talk to the army. He might just want to talk to Iran. He said he is willing to talk to bad people. Just go over to their houses and chat with them! He should scare us.

And no matter what anybody says, Hillary did not go to his church. While Barack was sitting in Church and screaming out love for that Rev. Wright and his American Hatred, Hillary was trying to pass a radically effective Health Care Bill. While Barack was living in Chicago being willing to sit down and talk to immoral street thugs, Hillary was watching very carefully everything that happens in the White House, gaining experience that Barack just was not willing to gain.

Up until that last sentence I supported Barack, but I've turned myself around. How could I support a guy who receives so much concern from somebody as reasonable as Joan. Joan isn't crazy, but look how concerned she is. Jaon isn't stupid, but read her blogs and see for yourself that Barack is not the God that everybody (republicans included) think he is. Joan is not an overt Hillary supporter, but read her blogs and notice that she isn't too concerned about Hillary. It is not like Joan is just out to get Barack. She said she wants to make him stronger candidate. She said she thinks he can give very talented speeches. She said that she likes the way he puts words together at times. She just has the tough job of also pointing out that he might lose to McCain. Hillary might not.

And think about this: Joan has noticed that Wright (Barack's spiritual leader) is narcissistic. Really think about that before you decide Barack might be able to be a good president.

@Pointblank (A Great Insight Into Obama's Character)

Good thinking!

If Obama does not drop out of the primary now that he has been proven to be way morally questionable and having no shot at the presidency, we know for a fact that he is a narcissistic man who cares not a jot for this country. Tell me this: Why would somebody stay in a primary who is losing, doesn't have most of the support, has personal flaws and might not win in the general election. With all those factors, what would make somebody stay in the race? That's right. If Obama doesn't drop out in the next few days, we will know for sure that he is a very very sick man and would be an awful president.

However, if he drops out we will know that he actually deserves the great respect that his more delusional followers bestow upon him. If Obama were willing to recognize that by dropping out he would be offering the country the chance for Hillary to maybe beat McCain, we would know for certain that Obama is a man of great moral clarity and selfless impulses. He would be a hero just for dropping out at this point in the race!

What would stop a guy like Obama from choosing to help out the country? You tell me.
