Rape as a weapon of war
[Read the article: Debating the debate, complaining about complaining]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]Rape has always been inflicted on the defeated throughout history as a weapon of war to demoralize and divide families. Rapes in Rwanda, Bosnia, Bangladesh, India, Liberia, Nanking, not to mention the systematic rape of African women in slavery, were heinous and unforgivable. To use rape as a metaphor for Hillary is not only specious but downright mindless and boneheaded. Rape is an equal opportunity assault on women throughout the world and unless one has experienced the horrific assault personally, one is not qualified to talk about it as a metaphor for Hillary's dubious whining of how the media has treated her.

He stumbled so badly
[Read the article: Will Obama's debate stumble hurt him?]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]that he held a campaign rally in Philadelphia that brought 35,000 PA folk to listen to his speech. That is how bad he stumbled.

AKA also known as the dunderhead of dunderheads
[Read the article: Debating the debate, complaining about complaining]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]You don't even have the skills of deciphering the language of irony and subversive intent, and you call yourself the expert on anything? AKA, you are by far the most self deluded woman I have ever encountered whether in print or in person. You don't read properly, you don't interpret language correctly, you literalize and you deliberately misconstrue and misrepresent. Why? Because you like attention, no matter how negative.
You come out waving what an expert you are, just by virtue of being a woman. But you are not an expert, just because you say so. Anyone can get statistics on rape by Googling. Your dumb assed posts give you away as a shallow blowhard who wants to pass as a thinker. Everyone knows somebody who has been sexually abused. Does not make them an expert?
If I told you what I really do, it would blow your closed mind. I have never, ever said that I engaged in the sex trade. I have always said that I run a brothel to bust myths and fabrications. But why am I surprised at your complete inability to grasp sarcasm?
Portraying Hillary as a victim of rape, even metaphorically, shows your complete disrespect for people who have been actually raped.

AKA
[Read the article: Debating the debate, complaining about complaining]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]People in my family have suffered rape and child sexual abuse
You need help AKA and you are not going to get it on Salon letters. If there have been rapes and sexual abuse of children in your family, even if you yourself have not been the victim, you need professional help to confront and to heal.

AKA
[Read the article: Debating the debate, complaining about complaining]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]You utterly disgust me and calling me a twit
I love it when you use my language to you back at me, but so ineffectively. Thank goodness for archived letters, so anyone can see your skills at interpreting posts.
Methinks I was the one who intervened twice I believe, to stop Payne and Manos from using the word Kotex. The posts are there for everyone to see, but you misrepresent again.
About giving speeches, uhmmmmm. You know, I once heard a speech many years ago, by a self styled advocate such as yourself who said there was no such thing as domestic violence and sexual abuse of children in educated middle class families. So much for speech makers.
As for Manos and Payne, yes they do come off rough sometimes, but AKA, I would rather have them over you anytime. They are NOT misogynists nor sexists just because they deflate your overblown balloon every chance they get. They are trying to grow you up little girl. Besides AKA, just because most women support Obama over Hillary does not mean you can defeminize us at will. Your feminism is self serving. Manos and Payne are feminists too. Now that should shock you right out of your tight fitting shoes.

[Read more letters about this article: Here]You do not even know what a victim advocate is, do you? You don't know what a CASA does
Court Appointed Special Advocates?
I know a woman who is an Executive Director in a Center for Drug and Alcohol Addiction. I have seen her plastered so many times, I wonder who is administering help to who.
Here is the point I am trying to make. You can say what you want about yourself. You are still an anonymous name on the web. People will believe or not believe you, based solely on what and how you communicate in writing. To date, you come off as an airhead.

AKA
[Read the article: Debating the debate, complaining about complaining]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]And how the hell would you know? You seem to be quite an interpreter of manos and payne.
This is what happens when you put people in you ignore list. But you are better at bluster than anything meaningful, and we will leave it at that. Payne and Manos take great delight at pricking your little ego.
Defeminze, my bad. I don't think you have a clue on what being a feminist entails. If you haven't heard already, take a look at all the feminists who have endorsed Obama. Now you are going to put them on your list of Not Feminists, just like you do your ignore list.

I never left Walker
[Read the article: "She's not as bad as you think"]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]but you seem scarce around these parts, now that your spiritual lying leader is all but ready to concede soooon. Keep up your foray into rhyming. You might become a poet someday, when you grow up.

For Clintons, a Time to Find Truest Friends if they have any left
[Read the article: Debating the debate, complaining about complaining]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]But one person’s “disloyalty” is, to another set of eyes, well-deserved “comeuppance.” And there is no shortage of powerful Democrats who are quick to accuse the Clintons of defining loyalty as a one-way street, with little regard for the sacrifices they have made for a couple whose own political needs seem to their critics always to come first.
