You are right. Political colonization is one thing about American imperialism, but what will always trump that are American universities that remain the bedrock of knowledge disbursement and political action. The anti-apartheid movement in South Africa gained momentum in the US after schools and universities started to divest from companies trading with the apartheid government.

But wouldn't you know, the politics followed us wherever we went. People are really excited about Obama everywhere we went. Over and over again, people we met, they all expressed their concern for his safety. Who doesn't.
Now I am back to reading this stupid snit about Obama's elitism. Can you believe that coming out of the mouth of a twit who has made over $100 mill in less than a decade?
But seriously, how does PA look this close to the finish? Is it all over for the ready to be CinC? Must say that the Europeans could not get over the sniper story. And neither should we.

Zogby the pollster has an interesting article on HuffPo about the interest in the Arab world about this election. Worth checking out. I suppose that when you're the big country that tends to break things when you get mad, other countries pay attention
The Arab world is waiting for its own revolution, to be freed from the clutches of the US armed tyrants in the likes of the Saudi Royals, and in Egypt, Mobarrak. Oh how the US loves tyrants from the Shah of Iran, Marcos and Pinochet. That is a whole new discussion onto itself. I will go to Huffington and read the article. Thanks.

You rail against Obama for praising Reagan which you have completely twisted to suit your anti Obama spin. Just as Reagan moved the country to the right, Obama compared himself as someone who would move the country to the left. But that may sit in your craw if I use the L word.
In any case, what did you think of Hillary praising McCain? Did you think that what she did was right? Let us know your thoughts on that so we don't misrepresent you as Kate.

Ask Peter Edelman and ask Joycelene Elders and ask all former Clinton supporters now supporting Obama. Ask them about integrity and the Clintons. They have so much integrity that they now oppose NAFTA from both sides of both their mouths.
